Thanks for the nice feedback :)
Yes, there is basically no reason for the player to move, we did not manage to implement any system to do that. We thought about something like a wall of doom that forces you further to the right every turn, or making the enemies remember where they got shot at from, forcing you to move to another position after each shot. But we only noticed the issue too late into development and then the time was up. Learned our lesson for the next game jam :)

Nice little game, I did not quite manage to beat your high score but I got close enough :)

I feel if you leaned a bit more into the "physics" prompt, the game would be  more engaging. There are some physics interactions when you push the bad acorns to the side or when those little guys push you away, but I think a way to utilize physics to your advantage somehow would spice things up.

The mini tutorial in the beginning is a nice touch, the game runs smoothly and i found no major bugs. Good job!

Also I almost forgot to mention the Songs are amazing!

I really love the setting. Even though the prompts seem kind of random and unrelated, you somehow put them together and the result is really unique and comes together nicely. The whole environment in combination with the well designed UI makes for a great looking game.

As someone who never really played rythm games, I found the difficulty challenging but rewarding. I had quite a hard time with level 3, but it was not frustrating, it made me want to try again, and after a couple tries, I succeeded and it felt great. The hard mode quickly got too difficult for me personally but as I mentioned i don't have any experience in this Genre. Great Job!

There are a few bugs going on as mentioned by Esyverse; Alt-Tabbing makes multiple levels load at once, and I had a similar effect when trying to adjust the volume with the Fn + F6 key on my laptop, but reloading the page fixes it quickly :)

Great Submission!

This is a cute little puzzle game at it's core, but everything around it turns it into a great immersive experience. The atmosphere in game is surreal, the sound design and environment made it really mysterious and fun to explore.  Everything is nicely polished and it seems like a finished product. Not to mention the amazing world building with an interesting cutscene, plot and even voice acting. I had goosebumps. Also i did not expect the car to be actually driveable, but it was :)

The only thing that had me confused a couple times were the tunnels between the levels, they were so dark that it wasn't really possible to know where I am going, I ended up walking backwards into them to see the light of the previous room and not lose my orientation, but that's as far as any criticism can go.

Really great submission!

(we don't have a windows machine to test it at the moment)

I hope it works now :D
