I have a problem; is it supposed to constantly switch focus to the application? I know it's probably to stay on top, but while the game is running I can't do anything else since clicking away insta-switches back to the game.

I mean sure, I guess it all boils down to the definition of "screenshot".

Well, I think "'impossible to screenshot' is quite an exaggeration" is an exaggeration, since you're essentially moving the goalposts to "cannot screenshot directly, but can combine data from multiple screenshots into readable picture". That aside, this could be neatly countered by what you suggested with moving background or making the static on the objects move only when the view itself moves (moving the character or the view).

Not dead! The game is definitely progressing, even if not as fast I'd hope. There's lots of learning and of course life on the side, but I'm still working on the project. I use social media very little (unfortunately), but I sometimes might post clips/progress there: @ohm_ena.

I made an update post a year ago that I will start the project over in 3D, essentially recreating what I had in 2D and continuing from there. And yes, I'm still working on the 3D version of the project :)

Triceratops, yes! Loving the update so far, although there is a small issue when changing to another display. My main monitor is 1440p, and when I'm switching into my other display, which is 1080p, the game doesn't scale accordingly and part of the game overlaps the other display.

I change it by selecting the app from the task tray, and then pressing Windows key+Shift+Arrow left/right, and it works pretty well :)

Adorable little app! I use it on my second monitor, and I don't have the taskbar enabled there, but it still offsets itself based on the main monitor taskbar instead of bottom of the screen, is it possible to fix this?  Loving it nonetheless :)
