could you have lighting adjusting settings? sometimes the light is too bright and its hard to see the dress if it has any white/light fabric

I've had three separate playthroughs so far and i have to ask -  is the whole argument between player and Aeran always inevitable? No matter what we'll always lose him? And if so, will we have the opportunity to make amends in future episodes? I've been trying to love up on him the entire trip and we keep getting interrupted  ;-;

it says theres customisation option on the left but when i look its not there? sorry if im being stupid
