I am very glad to have a copy of this little book. It is a wonderful thing to own!

I really love being the note taker for my gaming group, but not everyone does, so I made some note pages that will hopefully help. One in particular, the “dots and callouts” page is a design I’ve been tinkering with and think that the system could help even “novice” note-takers take really useful notes. I included that page as a free demo with an example sheet of my own notes and how the layout was designed. and appreciate people giving “play test” feedback on it.
Yea the idea is that you use the provided art assets in some way, so if you want to collage with them or use them as you would stock art to add to another piece or project then that would work! Honestly if you want to create art inspired by the general vibe of it, that’s totally fine too.
The assets will become free to download on June 1st!
Hey, Im Emily (she/her). I really love bookbinding, and have been making papercraft things since I was little. I think zines really fit the direction my personal projects have been going recently, and wanted to make something to start that creative process. I really like collage, and have been making collage posters for the past year or two, so I think I will incorporate collage heavily (gotta use up all my saved materials right). I also really enjoy layout - I do graphic design and layout for TTRPGs a lot, but I think I'd like to try out some funky layout with minimal text, really lean into an artsy side of graphic design.
ohhh, okay it makes sense having played, but it wasn't as clear in the text. I also missed the part about how "blank spaces" don't count for movement till I read the other comment on this page. So generally the "journal" shape is created only as you add things to it, and you just always have to alternate clue and suspect. I think I got it.
