I found the PokemonEmerald file in my local app data, deleted it, reinstalled the game and I'm still getting the fatal error when attempting to launch :(

I have no idea why, but every time I try and launch the game, even through itch launcher, I get a "Fatal error!" message and the game closes. I haven't been able to open the game once. I have tried disabling virus protection to see if that would resolve my issues but it didn't work. Would love any ideas
