Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the lack of distinction between the spikes and background. As this was just a game jam entry we’re likely not going to be updating anything, but we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future projects :)

Hi! We used your assets for a game jam here - thank you so much, they're beautiful assets! https://ociabbey.itch.io/ghoast

Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thanks! <3

Ahahaha you and me both, we're sitting here very gamed out now! So many good entries though! Thank you for playing and rating us <3

Thank you!

Thank you!!

Thank you for playing, and for your feedback! :)

Haha no problem! We almost left a camera pan in ours, could have been funny to see people peeking ahead in the level 🤣

Ahh that makes some sense! I thought since it was placed back on the desk I'd completed the task so I wasn't sure what to do next haha. Will give it another go!

Thank you! We've had some similar feedback, so that's definitely something we'll be looking into!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! :)

Sure, I'd jumped down to the bottom and then just couldn't seem to get back up to the top. I was double hitting space, it jumps, then drops down, then jumps high right? I couldn't get it to jump high enough to reach any of the platforms. This is probably a skill issue though!

I'm not sure exactly where I'd got to, if I get some time I'll go back in and try to screenshot where I was.

Aha, I have an auto-clicker for just such an occasion!

(it was very unhappy with this)

Super fun, chill game - the music was good, and I loved the dialogues throughout. Very nice!

Cute game! I found it really funny that the goldfish was stuck on the mirror haha. I got a bit stuck after finding the teddy bear, no more dialogue or anything so I've quit out for now - but happy to check back in with it if it's something dumb I'm missing!

That's such a huge compliment, thank you!

I think we left it in as a mercy so that if you got to that stage with only one life left it didn't feel bad haha. Thank you for playing, and your review!

The atmosphere you've created with this game is stunning! I absolutely love it! I also appreciate that you let me throw myself off a bridge and get respawned rather than preventing it altogether haha.

I got a bit stuck after a certain point and couldn't seem to find any way back up, even with the jump upgrade, but it seems like it'd be a really cool game to play. I'll come back to this!

Appreciate it, thank you for playing!

This is a super cute game, I love the art style! The cat is super cute <3 Really interesting concept for a game - I didn't get all the way through as I'm trying to rate as many games as possible in the last few hours, but this has left a wonderful first impression! Very well done <3

That's very kind, thank you!

Oh wow, yeah - definitely make sure you get some rest after all this!! Haha - appreciate it, thank you! <3

Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed the music and the art style! The digging minigame is also really fun to play, but I got a gameover screen so quickly and wasn't really sure what happened haha. I'll come back to this when I have a bit more time, but it looks good on a first impression!

We'd love to hear your feedback :) not much time left now!

Would really appreciate as much feedback as we can get! <3  https://ociabbey.itch.io/ghoast

The visuals are very striking, once I got the idea of what I had to do it was a bit more satisfying to play! I think you left your right click shortcut in though? I couldn't get dash to work (didn't realise it was an upgrade) so I started trying other options and was zooming around the map quite a bit haha. Nice job though!

Interesting idea! I wish there was an easier way to compare, my brain isn't too great with numbers so being able to flip between many different pages means I started to lose who was "worse" haha. Good effort!

Haha, creative way of solving! Thank you :D

Thank you very much! <3

This was a really good, impactful game - the art style is lovely, I liked the little pops of colour amongst the greyscale. Well done, fantastic effort in such little time!

The sticky note saying the door was unlocked was spooky! It was fun going around finding all the notes - would definitely recommend hinting to the player where they are though! Good job on doing this in the timeframe though, especially with git issues.

First game to make me genuinely laugh, such a good idea - great job!

Nice work! I love how every time I get in the elevator after murdering people it's like he's saying: "My work here is done." Well done, haha.

How did you manage to do so much in so few days?! Haha, this is a really impressive effort - well done!

Thank you for playing! It's a common piece of feedback that we get so I don't think it's just you haha. Thanks very much <3

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah we definitely have a few sore points to iron out haha.

Thank you so much for the kind words!
