That's a really good suggestion - I did notice the text kept processing fairly quickly and made it hard to keep track of how the game was responding, but I think we ran out of time to make any significant changes at that point haha.

Yes please!!

Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately our web build has some issues with picking up, throwing, and managing items - sadly that’s 90% of the game so it’s messed us up a bit and we couldn’t get a proper fix in the 48 hour window haha. Appreciate the feedback!

This is a very cute game - I definitely had to play enough to get all three endings! Great work :)

This is a stunning game, I played for well over an hour - I think this is an incredible effort, very much enjoyed it! Well done :)

Thank you!

This was fantastic, really enjoyed the puzzles, but my brain got stuck on the reversed controls section haha. I would've liked to see the rest but had to dip out here. Very well done, great art, fun narrative, audio is very chill. Great job :)

I like the way you say you introduce vertical symmetry to increase the challenge, as if it wasn't already challenging enough 😂 this is such a cute game, really unique concept, I'm just terrible at it!

This was a nice challenge, trying to figure out how best to conform to our alien overlords please the visitor. Feels very polished for a jam game, puzzles were fun, it would be nice to have some visual clarification on what exactly is "close" and "adjacent" as I kept getting rules ignored when I was pretty sure I followed them :o

Overall great effort, very fun!

Great news, thanks for the reply! :)

Liked it! Definitely I think needs a bit more guidance on how to move the party around (maybe fading out the icons of anything that isn't able to be accessed?) - it took me a little bit to figure out. The music is nice, concept of the game is good!

I really loved this! The art style is immaculate, the music is great (especially how it changes for the mushroom place, love that so much).

I have a few suggestions and wishes, but realise these are because I really *love* the idea of this game and just.. want more LOL I hope you don't mind:

* The ability to use more adventurers. It was nice seeing them pop up in the background but I couldn't figure out any way of actually adding them to my roster.
* Having the quest/adventures rotate in and out, I ended up just repeating the same adventure over and over because it had 100% success rate, rather than trying anything different.
* Having some tangible feedback on how the quest is going - the speech bubbles are very cute but no idea what any of them meant, or if they had any effect on the actual outcome.
* Bug? The shark guy never came back for his money, I got to day 12/10 without anything happening.
* Quality of life - I would love to be able to idle this and tab out, the game pausing every time I tabbed away became a bit frustrating as I'd seen the crystal ball view quite a bit by that point and I had to keep tabbing out to check work messages, meaning it slowed down my play time (still super cute though!)

Overall, very fun! Appreciate it's a jam game and there were time constraints, but I would absolutely come back to play this if you ever decided to expand on it!

Thank you! 😻

I like the atmosphere of the game, very ethereal - which definitely fits the game! Cool idea with moving the environment around like puzzle pieces. I enjoyed this :)

Not quite sure what I'm supposed to be doing honestly, seems like an interesting concept but picking up "strangers" seemed to be random chance rather than actually spotting anything. Not sure if I'm missing something here? We'll put it down to user error :D the visuals overall are pretty good, enjoyed the perspective.

Good concept, enjoyed the atmosphere of the game very much - controls seemed to work well! My only complaint is the volume level of the.. monster? darkness? had to remove my headset a couple of times haha. Otherwise lovely soundscape as well, great effort :)

This was a really fun puzzle game, I feel sorry for the poor loading bar haha. Nice work :)

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the lack of distinction between the spikes and background. As this was just a game jam entry we’re likely not going to be updating anything, but we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future projects :)

Hi! We used your assets for a game jam here - thank you so much, they're beautiful assets! https://ociabbey.itch.io/ghoast

Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thanks! <3

Ahahaha you and me both, we're sitting here very gamed out now! So many good entries though! Thank you for playing and rating us <3

Thank you!

Thank you!!

Thank you for playing, and for your feedback! :)

Haha no problem! We almost left a camera pan in ours, could have been funny to see people peeking ahead in the level 🤣

Ahh that makes some sense! I thought since it was placed back on the desk I'd completed the task so I wasn't sure what to do next haha. Will give it another go!

Thank you! We've had some similar feedback, so that's definitely something we'll be looking into!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! :)

Sure, I'd jumped down to the bottom and then just couldn't seem to get back up to the top. I was double hitting space, it jumps, then drops down, then jumps high right? I couldn't get it to jump high enough to reach any of the platforms. This is probably a skill issue though!

I'm not sure exactly where I'd got to, if I get some time I'll go back in and try to screenshot where I was.

Aha, I have an auto-clicker for just such an occasion!

(it was very unhappy with this)

Super fun, chill game - the music was good, and I loved the dialogues throughout. Very nice!

Cute game! I found it really funny that the goldfish was stuck on the mirror haha. I got a bit stuck after finding the teddy bear, no more dialogue or anything so I've quit out for now - but happy to check back in with it if it's something dumb I'm missing!

That's such a huge compliment, thank you!

I think we left it in as a mercy so that if you got to that stage with only one life left it didn't feel bad haha. Thank you for playing, and your review!

The atmosphere you've created with this game is stunning! I absolutely love it! I also appreciate that you let me throw myself off a bridge and get respawned rather than preventing it altogether haha.

I got a bit stuck after a certain point and couldn't seem to find any way back up, even with the jump upgrade, but it seems like it'd be a really cool game to play. I'll come back to this!

Appreciate it, thank you for playing!

This is a super cute game, I love the art style! The cat is super cute <3 Really interesting concept for a game - I didn't get all the way through as I'm trying to rate as many games as possible in the last few hours, but this has left a wonderful first impression! Very well done <3

That's very kind, thank you!
