The controls are arrow keys to move, shift to run, space bar to attack. You can hit the ESC key to pause the game but it doesn't pause perfectly well (a bit buggy).
The game is about killing aliens, there are waves spawning at you that get increasingly more difficult. The waves never stop so just try and get the highest score you can before you die. You get 3 lives.
