Hi, thanks for letting us know! We've found that in the majority of cases, this can be resolved by using a non-default unzipping program (e.g. Unarchiver) when opening the game's zip file.

Thank you for your comment! For the record, that is intentional; the AI domme mode is about fully relinquishing control, so the game essentially "plays itself" while toying with your mind.

Hi phil21,

We're sorry to hear that! This is why the announcement presentation featuring the same voice actress/character is linked at the start of the page, so prospective players can get a feel for her style. Additionally, as stated twice in the game's description, video games are the intentional scope of the trivia questions. We do our best to ensure people know precisely what they're getting into with our games, so they can make informed purchases based on the information available.

Thank you for your comment! Hypnosis is real and we make sure to treat it with appropriate weight. All our files go through a very strong three-phase safety testing protocol before they release. To aid with safety, none of our files have permanent effects, and every suggestion comes with a consent clause so it will only take effect if you feel fully comfortable with it.

Long story short, Fraction8 won't make you permanently worse at math.

We're sorry to hear that! What platform are you on?

Hi, thank you for your question! This game wasn't intended for play on mobile platforms and as such hasn't undergone full safety testing for it. Though a full mobile version is technically possible, we won't be releasing it until certain safety features such as a touch-activated emergency count up have been properly implemented and tested. We recommend against playing the game on mobile until then. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Hi, thank you for your question! Since the hypnosis in these files is primarily done through spoken language, fluency in English is necessary for the optimal experience.

Hi LJLdraws,

We've just uploaded a new Mac build that should hopefully fix this problem. If you're still experiencing issues, please let us know!

Hi Kistaro,

We're sorry to hear that! We've uploaded a new build for the web version of the game that should hopefully fix this problem for monitors up to 21:9, and we plan on releasing an update for the downloadable versions as well in the near future.

Apologies for the inconvenience!

Hi AdaFrame,

We're sorry to hear that! We've uploaded a new build for the web version of this game that should hopefully fix this problem for monitors up to 21:9. If you could let us know whether this fix works for you so we can update the downloadable builds as well, we'd greatly appreciate it.

Apologies for the inconvenience!

Hi ohnowj,

We're sorry to hear that! We believe that, for some reason, certain types of Mac don't recognize the game as an application. This may happen when using non-standard unzipping programs that don't flag applications properly. Try opening the program with the default Unarchiver, and if that doesn't work, you can manually set the file permissions withchmod +x Fraction8\ Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/*in the command line. (We're not 100% certain of that syntax, so you may have to mess with it a bit.)

Apologies for the inconvenience!

Our games are not compatible with VR headset. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Yes! This patch was launched before we made the downloadable version available.

At present, the game continues until you succumb to one of your status effects, with each status effect giving its own ending if it maxes out. There isn't a special ending for lasting long enough at present, though this may change in the Director's Cut of the game coming this Fall!

We're sorry to hear that! We've heard reports that if you chmod the app it will get around this issue. We hope this helps!

We're sorry to hear that! We've uploaded a fix that should hopefully take care of that issue. Apologies for the inconvenience, and please let us know if you run into any other bugs!

As we said, different minds require different inductions. We recommended looking into confusion inductions because they tend to work well on people on whom other inductions may not work, including neurodivergent people who aren't affected by other induction types.

We're sorry to hear that! In our experience, it's less of an immunity factor and more that different brains require different inductions. Our projects' hypnotic aspects thus far have focused primarily on blends of audio, visual, and kinesthetic inductions, but if those don't work well for you, then e.g. a confusion induction may be more your speed. We plan on expanding our induction repertoire in future projects, and hope that some of those experiences work better for your specific mind!

We're sorry to hear that, MrLama! In our opinion, it's less that certain minds are difficult to hypnotize, and more that different minds require different kinds of hypnotic inductions. While we do our best to blend together multiple induction types in our projects to cast a wide net, we haven't yet done much with confusion inductions, which may be more up your alley. This has been an oversight on our part which we'll do our best to correct in a future project.

Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately, Priority Realignment has been delayed to mid-April. We apologize for the inconvenience!

We're glad to hear you enjoyed! While we can't reveal too much yet, our recently announced upcoming project will combine several fun things together~

We're sorry to hear that! This is a known issue that we've been working on a fix for. In the meantime, you should be able to get around it by playing the game in a different web browser.

We're sorry to hear that! Does loading it on another browser, e.g. Edge, work?

We're sorry to hear that! Were you able to get the file to load on another browser?

We're so glad to hear it!

Our researchers have found that, while ctrl-scrolling doesn't work while the game is focused, pressing ctrl-minus should function regardless of whether the game is focused. Does that fix your problem? Apologies again for the inconvenience!

Okay. As your screen is 16x9, you should be able to make the file fit the size of your browser by zooming out. Apologies for the inconvenience!

We're sorry to hear that! Unfortunately the fullscreen version of the file is restricted to the downloadable version. What size is your monitor?
