Yeah, I survived - at least for now.

I really liked the game. It's the only game in this jam that I kept coming back to until I finally reached the end. The art is great, the concept is unique, and while the gameplay is simple, it's genuinely engaging. I also think the limitation was implemented really well and felt like a natural part of the experience.

There were a few moments that confused me, but I managed to figure them out and complete the game in the end.

Great job!

I agree that small issues like controls and hitboxes can sometimes be more frustrating than larger aspects of the game. Still, I hope you enjoyed the overall experience.

I was a bit unsure about the relay point section while developing it. Since I already knew exactly what to do, it was difficult for me to judge whether players would find it obvious or struggle to locate it. It’s a good reminder that I need to think more carefully about how players will understand objectives and where to go without prior knowledge.

Thanks for playing the game!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate you taking the time to play the game, and I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I originally didn’t plan to use PS1-style graphics for this project, but I couldn’t resist and eventually decided to add them. You’re right that the limitation feels somewhat disconnected from the core game. We came up with the game idea first, and I still think it’s a solid and unique concept, but we couldn’t find a better way to incorporate the limitation. Since time was running short, we decided to go with this implementation.

Thanks for playing! I hope you enjoyed the game.

Yeah, I agree that the plant watering section is a bit too long. I tried reducing the number of plants at the last minute, but I guess it wasn’t enough. As for the trees, I think the colliders are already fairly small, but I probably placed the trees too close together, which makes the map harder to navigate and explore. Thanks for the feedback!

The game is pretty good! Knowing that the game jam theme was "the instructions are lies," I kept hoping the "avoid the stars" instruction was a lie too. I had to test it just to be sure. Fun little experience overall!

The art is doing its best, the gameplay loop is nice and simple, and the whole thing feels pretty modest overall - but you know what? I actually kinda liked it. It's got a charm that's hard not to appreciate.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you had fun exploring the map. Thanks for playing and for the kind words, it really means a lot.

This game is really charming - the pixel art is adorable, and I enjoyed the story of the detective kids trying to figure out what happened to their uncle.

I can also understand why some of the puzzles ended up being a bit too difficult. Playtesting and balancing puzzle games is tough, especially with limited time. I've run into the same issue with my own game, where players sometimes get stuck because they don't know what to do next.

Overall, I had a good time playing it and really liked the game!

Hey, I liked this game - it's pretty fun overall! If you're interested, give our game a try too. You get to play as Water Gun Capybara, the twin sibling of Bar Capybara :)

This game is really funny, and it definitely put my intelligence to the test. Let's just say the results were... humbling. :(

This game is really cool - I love its vibe and atmosphere. I'm especially glad it's not just another cooking game. It feels fresh and unique. Great job!

I really enjoyed this game - it feels very unique, and I liked it a lot. However, it seems like there isn't a proper ending yet. Are you planning to continue developing the game?

I also have a suggestion regarding the colliders. They feel a bit too large, which can be frustrating when there's plenty of visible space between trees but the player still can't pass through. Making the colliders smaller could improve navigation and make exploration feel smoother.

I was hoping to see a creature :(

The game looks amazing. The uniqueness, the atmosphere, and the overall presentation all come together perfectly. There’s not much more to say - it’s just really, really good.

The game is pretty good. Looking at the other comments, I noticed that everyone else's ice cream still looks tiny. Meanwhile, this is what a real ice cream looks like →

Other than that, I enjoyed the game. Nice work!

The game is pretty cool. I got a little annoyed when the coach said my teammate was better than me, especially considering he sometimes just stands under the ball and then moves away at the last second, letting it hit the ground.

Funny enough, I was also thinking about making a beach volleyball game for the jam, but I ended up going in a different direction. This game fits the theme really well in every aspect.

I'd love to see a co-op or multiplayer mode where players can compete against each other as opponents.

I think you forgot that this is the Comfy Summer Jam, not the Scream Jam. Everything here feels like the complete opposite of the theme, from the atmosphere to the overall concept.

I know this wasn't meant to be taken as a serious submission, but the atmosphere and overall vibes were surprisingly fitting for what it was. It's kind of funny how far it goes in the opposite direction of the jam's theme. Pretty good.

I really liked this game. Most cozy games tend to be colorful, cute, and lighthearted, but this one feels very different in a good way.

I do have one question: are there multiple endings? I tried not letting the father and his children board the boat, but it seemed like I eventually had to let them on in order to finish the game.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and found the overall concept very interesting and unique. The game creates a memorable mood, and the idea behind it is quite compelling. Overall, it's a pretty good game, and I had a great experience with it.

Actually, I figured out how to play pretty easily just from the controls listed on the game page, so maybe it's just me.

This game might not stand out in terms of art, audio, or overall production value, but there's something about it that really clicks for me. The atmosphere has a certain vibe that's interesting and engaging. It doesn't have a huge amount of content, but what's there is working for me, and I'm enjoying the experience.

Thanks a lot for the kind words! I'm really happy you liked it and that it even managed to get a startle out of you 😄

You picked up on a lot of the little details I tried to include, and it’s awesome to hear the atmosphere worked for you.

And yeah, “total stranger vibes” making it into your vocab absolutely made my day 😂

Thanks a lot for playing!

Glad you enjoyed the writing and atmosphere - i spent a lot of time on the dialogue.

The movement and collision bugs are definitely on my list to fix after the jam. Really appreciate the detailed feedback!

Thanks for playing!

Happy you enjoyed the idea and the paranoid atmosphere - that's exactly what i were going for.

I'll fix those small bugs after the jam. Appreciate your comment!

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback! 😊

Really glad you liked the visuals, retro style, and the stitched faces - i wanted that eerie feeling!

You're totally right about the movement issues and unclear objective tracking. The wall collisions and doorway sticking were things i didn’t have time to polish during the jam, and i'll definitely add a clearer "remaining NPCs" indicator in a future update.

Thanks for playing! 😊

Totally understandable about the reading; i’ll look into pacing the dialogue better in future updates.

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the visuals and dialogues.

I am aware of those bugs  and will fix them soon. Appreciate your feedback!

I really liked it, very good aesthetics and atmosphere, a very fun game. My hand fell off while i was turning the handle. I played for about 50 minutes, how the hell did anyone finish the game in such a short time . Great submission.

It was a nice little game, and i enjoyed playing it. It was fun, but my ears got tired after listening to the same music for almost 10 minutes.

I liked the game, its aesthetics, and the gameplay isn't bad either. It's a bit buggy i places, but everything else works fine. I had Game Over screens during my playthrough, so don't worry too much. Good entry.

I liked the aesthetics of the game, the atmosphere is good . But for me, the game was really too short, and my expectations were not met.

I think the scariest thing here isn't the monster, but the meth.  I liked the idea of the game, but i wish it had better visuals. I'd like it to have a timer and for the equations to gradually become more complex.

THe game is pretty good. Congratulations on your first game, it's very good for a first game, and i wish you further success in game development 😊.

The game has good visuals and atmosphere, but at first i didn't understand how to play. I realized i needed to find my mom, but i couldn't figure out how, and then i decided to go to the game page and saw that the game was impossible to finish. I was a little upset because the game has a good concept, but there was nothing to do. I hope if you continue developing this game, you will add more life to it.

I completed the game, collected all the flowers, and i can say that the game is quite good. I liked the idea, the gameplay is also good. At first, i didn't understand what the solid surface meant, but then i saw a brick wall and understood what i need to do. Overall, it's a pretty good entry.

Can you play my game too when you have some free time?

It's a good game, i liked this interpretation of the snake game, everything worked well. I would like more game modes, and making the game scarier would also be nice. But overall, i liked it.

I liked the idea of the game, it has a good atmosphere. I also noticed that the game lags, but i don't understand why. The game was really lacking sounds. But overall, it's a pretty good game.
