fun chess puzzler! I do fail to see where the genre fakeout is though. A few points that would make this game much more enjoyable though would be some kind of feedback for the player when checkmate is done. as well as maybe some on screen instructions for what the point is, and which piece is supposed to be the king :P had a fun time once i understood i needed to checkmate while using legal king moves!

the hat was certainly one of my favourite additions! glad you liked the game and enjoyed the twist :)

man when i beat the final boss, the way they flew off just made me laugh. fun game! cute platformer, dark twist! even included some foreshadowing, how fun!

rip foley :( but what a beautifully ugly game! had a lot of fun playing it, and it was just janky enough to be difficult without having to tear my hair out to get those lovely flamingcoins! Great idea, excellent execution, and very impressive for a one dude team!
