Great atmosphere! Loved the creativity in this project. Nice ASCII art as well! Fun but challenging as well, great job on that! Enjoyed your stream, your game and I hope you keep it up!

Very fun game and loved the VA! Congratulations on that!
One critique I have is the camera pan you have. I presume it’s to guide the player? For me it happened a few times while I was moving my mouse. Maybe you could just add that pan when the player isn’t moving the camera?
Good entry and good luck with the rest of the jam! :)
Thank you so much! Really means a ton! I’ve been working as a software engineer for over 7 years now and have been modding/prototyping games in my free time, just never fully finished or went public with anything. So I do have my fair share of experience with some things but it was a lot of fun actually participating for once :)
I do want to keep working on this game, if you’d like you could join my discord! I’d love to have you as a playtester and hear your thoughts on the progress :)
Look: I have basically not slept the whole weekend to make this project. I’m a full time software engineer and using local AI for things like that has become basics in my field. All creative decisions were made by me, I’ve put countless hours into this project and multiple sleepless nights. I love the project I made and I don’t want someone taking that away from me because I used AI for things that don’t matter. I made the German translation because my girlfriend doesn’t really understand English and I wanted her to play it and get her opinion on it because I value her opinion.
Ohh I didnt, just for detection of minor spelling mistakes and help with the german translation. Script and everything creative was fully made by me.
As it says in the description:
All game design, sound design, art assets, script and dialogue is done by Noel and was created during the GMTK 2026 jam, no previous code, script, dialogue or art was used.
AI was used for PR reviews and git automations.
No creative work was made by AI.
I just wanted to be fully honest with the tools I used, even if it was for very minor things.
Such a fun game. Was really surprised to have multiple bombs! The chains were difficulty but fun. Well done :)
One thing I would’ve liked: Maybe different camera angles or a possibility to see the map from a birds-eye-view. Sometimes I didn’t really understand the trajectory of the garlic because of the camera angle. (tbf this might just a skill issue from my side)
Fun game, keep at it!
