Well, an hour of my precious life is gone playing Crystal Cataclysm. Here's what I can say about this game: Level design was on point. I breezed through levels 9 and 10 on my first try, but the final level (and level 8) was a nightmare. Graphics were a 12/10. I haven't seen such beautiful imagery since the fire at the Louvre and 9/11 (just kidding, maybe). And the 12/10 rating isn't just because my friend made it. The game's concept is a standard TryHard platformer. The player just needs to memorize timing for pressing buttons, and that's it. But it was executed beautifully. Sometimes, it's hard to tell when you need to jump or run. As you progress through the game, the mechanics (and just life in general) become more complicated. They add slipping to the character, increase running speed, decrease jumping height, and in the end, there's a surprise: the screen gets flipped (I couldn't tolerate it and just flipped my monitor haha). It's a pleasant game for one night, no more. I didn't experience any "rage" (although I did let out a sigh after every death). Overall, the game was very enjoyable, and I'm now its number one fan (yes, I'm a masochist). I'm eagerly awaiting the second part. But my face during the final level was like :(
