EST! Just joined the server :)

Awesome, let me know and I'll be there!

Oh, amazing! I don't think I'm in the server, but I can be! And as long as it's not a Monday night, I should be able to make it to any evening!

This is genuinely so exciting 💕

Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how much this means to me! I wish I'd been able to sit in on it, but would love to hear/watch the recording.

This is a TTRPG jam! The engine is your brain 🧠

Hi, y'all!

I'm Kristen (she/her). I'm a TTRPG writer online (check out my games, I promise they're cool!) and a craft & art teacher offline (and increasingly online, it turns out).

I haven't participated in this jam before but I immediately had an idea so I guess I'm all-in now! Look out for A Field Guide to Dating Monster Girls in October 😁

I'm so glad to hear that! I just think it's an example of a really well-executed concept and you should know.

I downloaded this game back when the jam happened and I've been meaning to comment on it since. It lives absolutely rent-free in my brain as an example of thinking outside the box and making a game serve its intended purpose, and I refer back to it all the time. Thanks for making it!

Hello!

👋 I'm from the northeastern U.S.
🧭 I often just get on itch and search "ttrpg" and look at the available jams :D
🍽️ English, plus some deeply-ingrained French and German.
🎲 Mostly horror, it turns out? Which is funny bc I love playing cozy/witchy games. I did write a very silly sci-fi game that I love.

Thank you so much! Figuring out that levity/gravity balance was so important to me and I'm glad it felt good to you! I was super excited to work actual ritual in, and the drink bit just felt right.

Thank you, I really appreciate you rating and commenting! I definitely wanted to create a game where everyone gets to just be awkward and vulnerable together in the face of grief and be okay with it - in fact, that's what you're SUPPOSED to do.

I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do for this jam! like, I know I have more general special interests but when I think about it I'm always like "the beatles!" or "the kennedys!" and I do not know how I would make a game about either of those!! maybe tea or beer or baking.

I can't wait to see either! I'm still figuring it out 😂

Hiya! I'm Lore (she/her), working on about a thousand TTRPGs so why not add another? I love romance, fantasy, horror, sci-fi and queer themes.

For this jam I'm writing a tarot-based solo game where you play as a character who has gone home for Christmas... only to get snowed in just as a grisly murder is discovered. Now you're trapped with family, friends and strangers, all of whom had motive and opportunity. Learn everyone's secrets, repair relationships and find the killer before they try to eliminate those who suspect them. Totally inspired by the movie "8 Femmes", which is so very silly and I cannot recommend it enough.

As someone who is always writing way too much lore for absolutely every project I ever work on, this game is my self-destructive dream. Genuinely a very cool concept!
