Thanks! most of my 8 hours was spent battling the physics objects of the rope haha

once I figured out I can just spam left click progression became a doddle

really fun, I could spend a long time playing this. would work as a mobile game as well I think

I ran out of music! the swing felt good and the diffuclty curve was nice, it could be beneficial to be able to lengthen/shorten the tongue once you're attached. good work!

Interesting concept, I found I kept flinging myself into other rooms unintentionally, I do think there needs to be a bit of movement outside of the hook to help position yourself better maybe

this could almost be an idler, hook onto something and get dragged about collecting space bux! Definitely lots of ways to build on it!

I too decided to use physics objects in segments to create a rope, I feel your pain of fighting with it! This is a really cool concept and has a lot of promise. Great work!

3:26 - I somehow ended up with my view constantly pulling to the right, I must've clicked "hard mode" before I started. Good work!

This activates parts of my brain that haven't been in use since I was a kid, I played so many games with arbitrary control schemes before WASD became the standard xD lots of charm

The swinging feels really nice! Some volume controls would be nice xD

Oops, I got knocked off the level by a cat xD it's got charm and it's pretty frantic, good work!

Good work! definitely got the bones of something larger there, reminds me of some of the old Half Life physics puzzles

Thanks! it is pretty janky so I'm sure it's not your ability dragging you down haha

Thanks! I did originally plan to also have left click operate the grapple, I forgot to hook it up as I rushed to finish though!

thanks babe x

fancy pants with his proc gen, we still want a wrastling game! Good work!

Good Work! I died lots. There only seemed to be one guy who was particularly angry with me

I was not fast - but I am using a trackpad, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Good work!

Good effort! I got stuck near the exit, assume I had to go left, used the gas bottle to blast the door out of the way but it got wedged by the next wall and I couldn't proceed!

If I wasn't already grappling with my sanity I would be now.

really good effort! the swing over the lava(?) feels really nice, I'd be keen to see further development once the rating period is ended. Well done :)

is this a game? or is this an audio visual representation of Zombie's daily struggle with sanity?

felt like I was scrambling for scrolls almost!

also; hot tip, the spike pits are only on the path to the finish, removes some of the maze of the maze ;)

good work dude!

I made good choices for my items!

Excellent mouth sounds.

Controls feel smooth, nice artwork and map length feels about right.

It would be cool to develop further and have a resource gathering step on the island then more dangerous seas en-route to the next one!

The game launches in both Chrome and Firefox and the camera up/down works but it seems like clicking a branch doesn't do anything :(

I could see this being really fun when it's working properly!

thanks!

yeah I did worry capitals would throw ppl off, which is why it says to ignore them in the intro text, but it's super easy to skip over haha

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

stressful but fun! I could see this working well as a mobile game.

Good work!

Took me a minute to figure out what I was doing but soon got the hang of mowing people down and feeding my queen!

The sfx are suitably disgusting! Plenty of potential here, would be interested to see where you go with it, the other riders could add some level of avoidance - i.e. don't crash into them, or dodge what they're throwing etc?

Good work!

The music is intense and definitely set my clicker finger going quickly!

I spent too much time in the "unlock" menu first time around as I assumed it'd pause the main game!

Once I realised it didn't, I stopped reading what all the unlocks do and just rushed to buy and get back to clicking.

Good Work!

This is fun, the slip slidey controls make it delightfully chaotic and I found myself questioning why I, as a povvo, would be trying my damndest to keep the planet alive long enough for the corporate overlords to escape.

The lore is right up my alley xD

The music fits well, hope to see some sfx introduced in later versions!

Good work :)

So I played this on my phone, and the drag mechanic seems to also clear the clicks - so I was basically swiping madly until my wrist couldn't take it any more!

It feels really tactile and the sfx and music work really well.

Me and my wife both shouted "DVD" in unison when the bouncer appeared, nice throwback.

Good work!

Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for the kind words :)

begs the question... What *do* you expect from game jams? 😅

Glad you enjoyed it!

The loops to avoid also emit a particle trail, but I added that too late to update the in-game instructions (>.<)

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

what score did you reach in the souls like version then? xD

thanks for playing!

Glad you enjoyed it! I just watched your stream portion on it, I'm glad someone noticed the music speeds up with the gameplay! (hint for if you revisit, the "poisoned" ones emit particles in the play area as well as the indicator at the top).

Good idea for a "warning indicator" of sorts, if I develop this further I'll definitely consider it.

Thanks for playing and feeding back :)
