halloween ? more like merry fucking christmas to me holy shit

im literally beside myself with excitement

reading through comments and dying at how many ppl did sysba route, me included. i mean really, how are you gonna put ELDRITCH GOD as one of the romance options and expect ppl to just glance over that ahdh;aslh

dreamwalker intrigued me the most actually, but he took so long to show up, only to get mad when i tried to flirt with him ;;;;; 

positively enthralled with the worldbuilding. I can tell how much time, thought, and effort went into it - and am genuinely so intrigued with the sheer amount of story per chapter. i remember being only like halfway through chapter 1 and going -- this is still chapter 1???? but in the best way possible. gripping story with just the right amount of 'doesn't take itself too seriously' but also 'you should def take this seriously' - and then with immersive lore? mannn, it must be my birthday. 

what a strong cast of characters as well! certainly strong in the sense that they're all mutants lmao, but of course I mean character wise. multi-faceted, believable and yet ephemeral, all grounded in the wonderful writing. dreamwalker haunted the narrative like nobody's business,  but there were also characters like prince, and the atlas killer that were so striking, even without being mains. gorgeous.

guiltily hoping we get powers - i mean, we have come in rather direct contact with the black slime after all. More to note there with all the coincidences, appearing and disappearing convenient stores and liminal spaces - unless this is merely atmosphere, and I doubt it, considering the care put into all the details. 

my saves wouldn't work, unfortunately, but i'll be back eventually to start over with another route. can't wait for the next update  <3

Ah. man. some more remarks. Byte is my favourite handsdown, but I gotta give my props to the rest of the crew. I just love it when a story actually gives you dynamic characters. Shame on you for making Kaius so likeable. Loken honestly deserves better, and I need to save him from his toxic relationship (Loken come with me). Hope to see some more agency from him in the future.  Curious as to whether any more major characters will be introduced seeing as the next chapter will be the last, but, really, I am just hoping for a good wrapping up with everyone we have so far. I'd hate for a certain badger's last conversation with MC to be on such an awful note. And don't get me started on Mylo. (I hope I am remembering these names correctly).

"A sci-fi furry visual novel". Honestly I think the level of understatement in this summary should be commended. I signed up to read a furry vn not one of the best cosmic horror stories ever told. Some of the dialogue near the end of that last update had me wondering if I was having a stroke. Dropping major philosophical insights like no one's business. 

I'm beyond words, truly. Never have I really felt such palpable dread in a story. The build up is just phenomenal, and the plot twists give what plot twists should: just enough hints to have the reader nearly there, but not truly discovering it.

For example: we know there's something going on with Kaius, then it becomes clear he's hiding something -- but we could never guess it was Glitch. And again, we know there's impending doom on the village, and we're prepared for a battle, a slaughter -- but then there is a slaughter, but its from a demon, not an army. Just so much clever subversion, and the emotions all feel so real. I have never been really upset with an MC in media before, you typically sympathize with them even if they go down the villain path, but here I was witnessing MC go insane right alongside all the side cast, and wanting to throttle him. And it was painful being made to watch. Burning bridges. Building some. Burning again. 

And then throughout all that, the backbone of this entire thing -- the LORE. The absolute killer atmosphere, mystery, unrepentant horror, and then, oh yeah, just in case you forgot its a furry game -- sex -- but the story is just so well put together. The glimpse we finally got of that demon: perfect. Not forgetting that eldritch monstrosity ya'll got chilling in that lake either. I can't wait to see how everything ties together, and I honestly think we the readers need some victories for our cast in the future. (Please.)

The worldbuilding is just beautiful. What a work of art, seriously, this hit every note it was meant to - from suspense to action to romance to angst.  Dumped me right into the world with no explanation and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I adore the time and focus given to both Violo & Vivere, both separately and together. I naturally had my favourite at first, but before I had realised it, I had somehow become obsessed with both. (WITCHES!!!)

Progression is fantastic, and I can't wait to see how the story ends. I assume I'm on the best path considering what I've been shown so far, and I think I'm actually going to eat concrete until you've finished the rest. Take all the time you need, and know that this is loved.

Just got bowled over by the spirit of joy and whimsy?? Genuinely could not stop cheesing the entire game???? i got ending 5 right off the bat and proceeded to put him in my mouth and eat him. 

In all seriousness, I really enjoyed the world building and look forward to more of it (trust, I WILL be getting that DLC). felt so spoiled being given both romance and also LORE that i could greedily sink my teeth into - or what was sprinkled throughout anyway. There's just so much more to explore! I feel as though I was given a climax for the romantic storyline but not quite the other (arguably more important) one. The resolution just felt too easy. I want to know more about the world! More about his job, more about the punishments, more about other reapers! More about my own lore with the revelation we were given!!! More about everything!!

Granted, I've only gotten one ending so far (the best one?), so perhaps there is more food, but I'm a bit hesitant to get any bad endings ;-; Truly a feat to be honest, I'm quite the completionist. It just proves that you've made an incredibly compelling character and story. I had a wonderful time playing :)

everyone was so cute but this man had me kicking screaming cartwheeling passin out

anyway(!!)so much heart clearly went into this game!!!!!! my first playthru was a bad end (LMAO) so after tht i gripped those walkthroughs real tight. but i especially like how we get views into different little groups of server members through each route--it really fleshed it all out beyond just the romance. voice actors also went CRAZY ??? im biased on quest but xyx had my mouth dropped open the entire damn time. 

not sal tho. im sorry i had to laugh which one of yall was trying to voice that grown ahh man LOL

have you tried inputting the username LovelyLola ? i had this issue too and this fixed it. his cat ears photo will show up eventually during the first chat (w/o spoilers, when he pops into chat for the first time) so just keep playing

The 'freak out' option had me laughing so hard bruh that really went from 0 to 100 immediately. I was trying to go for a realistic route (bc who wouldn't feel a little freaked?) but I learnt my lesson real quick damn

Such a good game. I'm definitely on the edge of my seat for day 4
