I sorted out the issue, I needed to completely uninstall and reinstall, not just hit the "reinstall" button provided in the itch launcher. Got it all working properly now

I haven't played this game in a looong while, and came back to it to check out the updates, seeing the character redesigns and whatnot intrigued me. However it seems like my game still just has all the characters as they were with their og names, sprites, and a full gallery. I'm pretty sure it's up-to-date, and I tried reinstalling it, starting a new save, so on so forth, but can't seem to get the new-ish content to show. Any ideas?
