Check my playthrough video. Your first run, you’ll die after the first couple enemies. Save up to upgrade your block ability. It gets progressively easier from there!

It works! Nice! A couple suggestions - 

1. To be a true Sussy Schoolgrounds fan game, your monster should be chanting something.
2. Also, maybe add some sound effects? Like when the papers get collected, and some walking sound effects.
