Thanks for the answer! This will fix a lot of confusion in our group. :)

The premade characters in this have me wondering - how many feats does a new runner start with? 3 are listed for each class speciality, the premade characters in the TTG rule book have 0 feats, and the premade characters in Rojo each have one. Which is correct? And can you pick the basic feats when leveling up, or are they only available when making a character.

One last stupid question - do threats always move their full move score, or do they move up to their full move score (the way the player does)? I’ve been playing it as the former (with some dancing back and forth to try to stay in optimal range when possible).

Thanks for the quick confirmation!

Looking forward to diving into this, but I did have a couple of questions re: a few specific face cards:

  • Firmament Jack: you specified in another post that if you draw this as a Threat, you use the Threat (using the other location you drew). What happens if you draw it as a Churn? Do you use the Churn but not the threat? (Also, could Churns on face card listings be more clearly marked? They just look like extended Threats).
  • Firmament Queen: Similar question - what happens if you draw it as a Churn? Do you just apply Steel Webs as a Churn and then not count the threat as defeated (since you would draw a different threat)?
  • Surface Jack/Queen: I'm assuming that the Churn (again, not clearly marked) are the line item that add the extra threat for 3 turns, and then the encounter isn't defeated (for purposes of pulling Jacks/Queens from the deck)?
  • Core Queen: If drawn as a location, do you just use that map but another churn and location (and again, don't remove Queens from the deck)?

I think all the rest are very clear, and I think I know how to parse these, but I wanted to confirm.
