For the upgrade shop of course! Spend your skill points to get increased stamina, less ammo cost, faster firing speed, ext! You can also charge up stamina by using your special ability on the ground.

Thank you for playing! I had gamepad tunnel vision during this jam for sure. Mouse and keyboard controls are in the build I just ran out of time to make a graphic for them. Along with making a couple of silly mistakes like not rehiding the mouse when focused and forgeting to add WASD movement for the main menu navigation. That led people to thinking arrow keys was the way you're supposed to play on MnK.

Thank you for giving it a shot! I thought your entry TAUT was good too! Admittedly I ran into a couple of web build specific bugs right at the end of the jam. So I had to cut my losses to keep my game playable. The downloadable build runs a lot better. Thanks again for playing.

Thank you for playing! I'll keep working on it.

Thank you!

I appreciate that, thank you!

Thanks for bringing this up. I just tested it again in the browser and was able to use the settings with gamepad & arrow keys just fine. I'll look into this and see if a button is losing focus somehow while on the menu and update the game accordingly.

Thank you for playing!

I love the art here!

This was fun!

Push your friendly Apsis units forward in battle against the Void monstrosities!

Level up and spend skill points in the shop to become stronger and gain score faster!

Fight in thirdperson with anime inspired combat or in firstperson with mech powered controls!

Battle until a team has achieved dominance or until you lose all your lives.

Thanks for having me in the jam!

Pretty neat! Sound effects were a standout. Something that might tighten the gameplay loop here is to lower the max amount of doors and randomize them. I liked discovering each door, but re-exploring all of them for a second playthrough/shift maybe not as much. You can make the shift times smaller and more bite-sized utilizing less doors. There's a lot of directions you could go with this. Nice work on this game!

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Thanks! :)

Thank you!

Very fun!

This is awesome!

This was really interesting! I love fixed camera games and the monster designs in this were shocking. Great work.

Yes, I was told commercial work was approved for this jam.

Nice playthrough! I appreciate the kind words. I'll work on Killer line of sight soon, so you can have some stealth options.

Thank you for letting me know! I'll keep trying to find a fix.

Darn I thought I fixed that last night. Thanks for playing. Was this on the V5 download?

My mistake. I was uploading a patch and Itch overwrote the previous windows build while uploading. Should be up now!

Hey thank you for playing! Glad you still enjoyed my demo despite the bug. Uploading a patch now to attempt addressing that issue.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing! I'll update it with an interact icon for characters you can talk to. E on the keyboard or X on the controller will let you speak with the Burger Eleven clerk. R on the keyboard reloads the level and 1-5 switches between the demo scenes which I think is why the scene jumps happened in your video. I'll add the controls above to the itch page. I appreciate you taking some time out of your day to play my demo!

Thank you for taking some time out of your day to play and leave comments. I appreciate that!

Thanks for reporting that. I'll work on improving that for Prototype 3!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for featuring VU!

I enjoyed this demo a lot. Nice work!
