Hi everyone!
I just released Ten to Goal, a free football puzzle game made in Scratch for GMTK Game Jam 2026.
You have ten players and one final chance to score. Assign the numbers 10 to 1 to build a passing sequence, but every pass must avoid all the other players standing in the way. Once your plan is ready, press GO and watch the move play out.
The idea was inspired by the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. Spain’s passing style, combined with Enzo Fernández’s red card leaving Argentina with ten players, became the foundation for the game’s 10-to-1 countdown mechanic. The final ten-second scenario is a fictional twist created for the jam theme.
The game includes:
- 104 puzzle matches, reflecting the 104-match format of the 2026 World Cup
- A unique 10-to-1 passing mechanic built around the jam theme, COUNT DOWN
- Passing routes that can be blocked by both teammates and opponents
- Multiple valid solutions in some matches
- A built-in gameplay demo and clear in-game instructions
- Match selection, quick retries and fullscreen browser play
- Music, sound effects and a complete football-style presentation
- A fully playable experience made solo in Scratch in around 48 hours
It was made solo in around 48 hours, so I would really appreciate any feedback—especially about the pacing, difficulty and clarity of the first few levels.
