Cool idea to have the players match sound waves as a game mechanic. I realized that sometimes the text entries would appear back-to-back, so when I pressed the green or red button, it’d seem like nothing happened because of them appearing right next to each other.

Indeed, a tutorial would greatly help this game. But this game was the one that I had the most fun with so far. I really enjoy the music and retro-like SFX, and the movement of the player. I wish the enemies were less tanky, but aside from that, the combat is pretty solid. Maybe if you implemented the combat with mouse input instead of keys (like the light attack and heavy attack, for example), it’d make it a lot more intuitive. Overall, a great game, I really like it.
This is amazing. We had a similar idea to use function waves for the basis of our game, but I’d say that you incorporated it in a much more direct way, which makes the game super unique and fun. I think you should expand on this, such as adding tangent waves. By the way, the best I could do was a Total of 60.
Hello everyone, hope you’re having a great day.
I’d love to share my team’s game, Sinful Waves, for people to play. We’ll also play your games to make it fair, of course (especially if it’s browser-supported).
Drop your game links here and send some constructive criticism. We would really appreciate it!
Best of luck to everyone who has submitted their game, and have a good one.
Wow, this is a pretty hard game. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it past the tutorial, it’d be a good idea to either increase the hit box for waving or decrease the time it takes to go up in wave points. Besides that, I love the cartoonish art style, a little touch up would make it even better. The waving mechanics are super cool and have a lot of potential and the main menu music is extremely smooth.
