Congratulations on the game, I expected a lot from it. There's stuttering here and there, I hope you'll be able to fix this over time, but overall it's a lot of fun ! I'm at lvl 9 right now, my only fear is that the game is too short 😁

Well, my kind words are deserved, your game is one of the most technically surprising of the console, and most of the visually appealing games on the system are too hard and short, looking like tech demos.

Thanks for the insights ! I am no coder, so I may sound dumb, but the dream control scheme to me would be : press B + direction to strafe, and use the crank to swap weapons, as it does not happen that often. It would be a great way to make the game more dynamic and to celebrate the uniqueness of the Playdate, but maybe it is too complicated to code ?

I would be very excited by new ennemies, weapons or themes. There is so much to create with the awesome game you made !

I kind of cheat, I shoot the ennemies from very far, so they don't react. That way I managed to get to level 3 this far. Is it bad ? 😬

If I play fair I often get killed in level one, the impossibility to dodge and to strafe make duels very difficult 😅

Just saw that ! End of level 1 if my memory serves. Your game is hard and I'm yet to find the Kalashnikov, but I'm at level three right now 😎

Hello, nice to see you ! The most important would be to fix the bugs, like collision issues (with enemies and moving platforms) and make other quality of life improvements. The game deserves more polish, it feels clunky at times. If fixed, it would have a wonderful second life on the catalog.

Hello, and congratulations for this game ! As a lot of other very well made games though, it really is too hard and too punishing for the casual player that I am. I'm sure I'm not the only Playdate enthusiast that would rather chill with his console than die and retry a thousand times 😅 Any chance we can get rid of the life counter (as an option) any time soon ?

I don't mind the grind, but I can't restart this first level from the beginning any more 😵‍💫

Is it possible that hotspots don't refresh though ? 🤨

Hello ! One of the first times I played, I found a hotspot in the map, where an icon told me there was a lot of fish. Since then (it's been a while), nothing ever happened again on the map, that is empty all the time. Is it normal ? Should I just go to random spots ? Cheers !

Bought it here and 2 hours later it was on catalog, I'm so mad 🙄 Here we go again, feed watch and manual updates...

I agree that it is a shame to advertise a game that hasn't been worked on for almost 9 months and that is still rough on the edges... probably one of the best in it's genre nonetheless ! It would be very cool if the developper could come back and say hi 🙂

I think that the game is dead at this point, and it is very sad because it has a lot of potential, and would indeed need a little bit of polishing.

Hello there. No offense, but you should not advertise your game as "supporting French" when the French version is even worse than what Google could have done. Beyond the word-to-word translation (most sentences are laughable), the many mispelled words make it look like a 6 years old wrote the tutorial. I don't think it is a good thing, to reiterate the way the mobile game industry despises foreign players and feeds them with cheap versions. 

 Can't wait to try the game though !
