You can improve your framerate and speed up loading by changing the following settings in Duckstation:

• Firstly, turn off the game if it's on
• Settings -> Console -> Overclocking Percentage 175~180%
• Settings -> Console -> Enable Clock Speed Control
  
• Settings -> Console -> Read Speedup: Maximum (Safer)
• Settings -> Console -> Seek Speedup: Maximum (Safer)

I haven't tested the game much on these Duckstation settings so you may find bugs that wouldn't be there with the normal settings.

You can also switch the framerate from 30 to 60.

In PETSCOP Restored options screen:

• Video -> Max Frame Rate -> 60 [Press START to accept]

UPD: There is a fixed version for PS2-POPS emulator. It's experimental build, so you can find it in our discord server.

The game is developed for PS1 or Duckstation, so PS2 compatibility is not a priority, so play at your own risk on different platforms or emulators. But still, if you'll find some glitches (any platform or emu), there is a special channel in our Discord group where you can demonstrate the problem.
