I thought the game was very interesting, where you had to find collectibles(keys) to unlock the door while running away from slender man. I thought the slender man model was really cool and added something very scary to the game, but if you were decent at running it was very difficult for him to catch you. It would have been more interesting/ scary if there were more obstacles/ a maze where you had to run away from him. Also, I feel like the door mechanic is weird, 50/50 shot to insta lose. Otherwise, I really like the feel and aesthetics of the game

I really like the puzzles and how they use tools that you unlock in previous levels to go through other levels. It makes it so you actually have to think about the things you are getting instead of being oh I do this I do that. If there was an expansion to the game, it would be interesting to implement rooms that require the use of multiple tools to get through it. The only issue I have is the lack of clarity with some tools. For example, when I got the bow, I had no idea how to use it and died. Otherwise, I think it was a well-designed and implemented game.
This game really matched the backroom theme that the game is based around. The environment and gameplay really match that feeling, where it feels like you're in a big room/maze and you feel like there's some danger you need to get away from. In general, it is difficult to find the exit, but it made the game more mysterious. I only recommend that the game have some sort of danger that makes the stress of the game feel more real.
The game overall look and feel of the game are very profound and sets the mood of the game very well. I am most impressed by the AI of the enemies. I feel like these AI were very hard to deal with in general. I wish there were more open areas in the game with more enemies, so the player could challenge themselves against the difficult AI, which is a major strongpoint in the game.
This game leaned very heavily into the mechanics of the game and did it very well. The levels start very basically as they slowly build up the skills necessary to challenge the harder level. I think the skill progression of the player is really nice, with clean mechanics and gameplay to support any ideas the player has. The game is very good, except for the boss. The 1st and 2nd phase of the boss isn't even that bad and helped me learn the game better. The 3rd phase is just bad, where you either get 1 shot by all the boss's bullets or you 1 shot him if you parry right. Aside from the final phase, the game is good.
I like the overall mood of the game. The 3 different levels are different, but I think they highlight different aspects of the game. They provide different gameplay experiences while being in the same mood, which makes the game interesting and fresh. I think it's really cool how you implemented procedural generation into the game(I played it over again to see it), which adds to the maze part of the game. Good job!
This game has a very good aesthetic. I feel like I would pay money for this game, where the overall art, action, and mood mesh together so well. The game has games within the game, tense moments for a gameplay loop that seems so simple. Adding elements like lore and collectibles also makes the game world seem very much alive. 10/10 game, maybe the best game to come out of the class.
I think the movement and feel of the game are very nice. I also like the ninja art style and the voice acting. The game flows together very well, I don't feel like I am stuck in an action. My only complaint is that if you die a lot, you reset to the beginning, which isn't that fun if you're not that great at the game and mess up.
This game is very interesting. There are many things to talk about. The progressing weapon system is a really cool concept well implemented, where players can progress through the game with multiple paths. My only complaint is that it seems some of the weapons are clearly much more overpowered than others, where it feels like the player is punished for not using a particular weapon. Otherwise, everything about the game is very cool, the level design, boss battles, and traversing to the levels. Very cool!
The sprite designs and animations are very nicely done. I especially like the beginning animation, which gave the story a bit of lore. I also like how the player has multiple options of attack, with the gun and the melee. I think the game would be a little better with some direction to where you should go, the level with the black walls makes it very hard to know what you should do or what the goal is. I also like the boss.
I thought the general idea of creating a fighting game as a platformer was very cool and innovative. I also like the multiplayer aspect of the game, it is very simple to set up so you can play the game with multiple friends(locally). The game is a bit awkward to play as the second controller, whereas the first player has a big advantage if doing local multiplayer. Otherwise, I think all the gameplay and fighting were cool, and the maps were interesting(except for the forest map which was way too big).
