There’s something human and lovely about making (and playing) games.

Exactly! This particular cave (Cueva de las Manos) has over 2000 hand prints (among other forms) over a period of 8000 years, showing several waves of different peoples contributing. And I think that’s just lovely :)

The political side was something that came out pretty late in the 3-month development of the game. Initially the protag was just supposed to have a little post-traumatic stress from fighting demons and monsters in the Queen's army and leave it there.

But the idea slowly grew to the point where it runs alongside Vrin's rehabilitation. I was a little nervous about gesturing to such a big idea without delivering on it (especially with the implications at the ending). Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to come back to it and elaborate on it.

I'm so glad to hear that it resonated with you <3. The purpose of this game was to rehabilitate myself a bit in making games - which is why the protagonist is perhaps a little jaded.

That's an interesting idea, I think in a longer version a map of some kind would make a lot of sense, I'll be sure to keep it in mind. Originally I planned to have a bit more direction but I just ran out of time . Thanks for your kind words <3
