This is a long shot, but: is there any chance Subor mouse support could be added to the NES version? This is the mouse that comes with those "educational computer" Famiclones from the '90s/'00s. I got one recently and to my surprise, it works with a bunch of NES hacks/homebrews that have SNES mouse support, including the NES version of Maniac Mansion, but unfortunately not Cronela.
