I seriously couldn't stop playing this game it's really addictive. The numbers going up are very satisfying, perfectly done. I think if this game had audio my time in it would've doubled haha. I think the target money needs to increase a bit faster in later levels potentially, or a final win condition is needed as I don't think it was possible to lose when I was getting 100k+ a round without trying. Amazing game though, I loved it!

I really enjoyed the puzzles in this one, the numbers going up are satisfying, a retry button would be nice so it's easier to recover from messing up!

Thanks for playing and commenting :). I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Awesome idea, I couldn't for the life of me get to the asteroid with the nukes, but I thought the orbit trajectory and predicting where the asteroid would be along your path was a really cool feature.

Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it :). I agree on the sound effects, I was just kinda using things I had available at the time rather than finding/making anything specific. Certainly stuff I will learn from and improve on!

Thanks for playing my game! Yeah I think what would be helpful is what one of the jammers told me, I made it so dashing through enemies gives you a dash back, but it probably should also reset the cool down or give iframes to make things flow better.

Very nice idea for a game, and you've got a whole multiplayer lobby system working in a game jam?? That's crazy! I really like the low poly 3D style, you've executed it well here.

Thanks for the feedback! That's a good idea to be honest and wouldn't be a massive change to improve the game :)

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Nice effort on your first game jam! The fact that you did most of the assets yourself is quite an achievement in the time window. I like the dash mechanic but I think unless there was something later on I was missing, I'd probably never die in this game haha. Great job!

I love peggle, turning it into a dating game about destroying planets is hilarious. Also massive kudos on co-ordinating such a huge team for this in the time constraints!

(1 edit)

I managed to beat the game, cool idea to flip the jam on its head like this. I had some difficulty working out what to do, it might be worth forcing players to go through certain windows before they're thrown at the desktop! Also, people will tend to click icons on a screen starting at the top from left to right, so putting the tutorial/google (with the tab focused on reddit) would be a more natural way to guide most players to it if you want to drop players straight into the game.

Very interesting idea! I like the doodle art and the music, they complement the game well. I think the click and drag game is a bit janky, if I move too fast it drops the character, it might have been better to leave the click and drag out of the equation and focus on just following the mouse. I'd end up moving my mouse to the end before I realized I dropped the guy cause I was busy platforming haha.

Very cool idea for a game, the level disappearing when the tiles run out is very satisfying to watch, you really nailed the game feel with this one. The chess pieces as enemies works really well on the grid system too, very creative!

Awesome idea for a jam! The tom drums to represent popcorn popping is really creative, the whole idea is creative honestly. It felt like the popcorn should've been obstacles but they weren't really, rather than it decreasing health if they moved you around it'd add challenge for sure, but nice effort either way!

Wow I didn't expect a game jam game to hit this hard. Seriously well done for getting this feeling across in a game in such a short amount of time.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I felt personally like putting everything on one hand would be overwhelming, I guess I could've used arrow keys instead. I did add rebindable controls though from the main menu!

Thanks for playing my game :)

Thanks for playing and for all the feedback! I'm glad you appreciated the controls rebinding, I thought it'd be important for this kind of game to have. Since this was my first jam I underestimated how long it'd take me to make levels hence there being so few, a lesson for next time I guess :)

Thanks so much for playing my game :)

Thanks for playing my game! Yeah, I need a bit more experience with level design, I was slower at it than I expected haha

You know, I didn't think I'd enjoy matching socks today. I managed to get to wave 5 and I'm taking that as a victory haha. Very cool and unique game :)

Funny, at -5 hours now :)

The mystery for this one was interesting, unfortunately I couldn't work out who it was haha. Good effort on making the game, it has a really good atmosphere to it :)

This is really fun! Giving me warioware vibes with the minigame challenges and the art style works great for it. I really struggled with level 2 but the rest were great, I'm gonna chalk that up to the web build not being responsive enough haha.

Really fun! The puzzles are pretty challenging and require some thought, it's great to figure out the solutions though. Very creative solutions are in every level which I really appreciate

Thanks for playing my game!

I found this really fun to play, the tutorial was beautiful too. I like the camera angle we're put at, the bat enemy really does feel massive to the player. It's like a boss fight! Very appropriate music too. I wasn't able to beat this one in the short time I played, the attacks later on are really tough to react to and parry but not in an unfair way.

A pretty fun game! I think the idea of making it so the bullets move the timer rather than damaging you outright is really cool, very creative. I'd like if progression was a bit faster, may be a skill issue on my part but I couldn't get more than 5-6 thetinium per run!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the dash sound could be better for sure, do you mean it's too loud or just needs to be different?

This game is great! I love the touch of giving the 8 ball pool style guide on how the floofs are going to rebound. And naturally because of this my favourite floof is the 8. I got down to single digits and then lost unfortunately. This game made me feel relaxed after spending all my time on this jam :D.

Awesome game! I really like how the turns play out once you set up your actions. Also, the variety of characters is nice. I really like the artwork in this one.

I managed to get all the spinners in this, god it's difficult :D.

I think the controls would be a bit better if it were just arrow keys or WASD rather than splitting them, once I was over that though I could control myself a bit better!

The egg is really cute and I love dragons, two plusses :D.

I got to level 34, be careful posting a fixed version link as I think that breaks the jam rules!

An A press is an A press, you can't say it's only half.

It took me a bit to work out what I was doing, but I went back and watched "Watch for falling rocks in 0.5x A presses" and understood what I needed to do. I like the visuals and the music, I think they fit well for what this game embodies.

The jump dive makes doing wall jumps a bit janky sometimes and I wish dying was faster with how often I die in this game.

What an awesome idea, this game genuinely feels fun to control to top it off. The difficulty of the game means my runs (at least) were short, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I've not been in this jam but I appreciate this game.

This was a cool idea! I got softlocked by the freeze spell like a few others here lol. I think you could do a lot of interesting things with this concept though

Cool idea for a game! I did get some crazy loud sounds from playing this game when the chains got ridiculously big. It'd be nice if there was a win/loss condition if you were looking to continue with this in the future.

Interesting idea! I think it fits the theme really well. The UI at the top of the screen covers a bit of the game for me, I can't tell if that's to do with the size of my screen or if this is the case for everyone.
