hi! you may have already figured this out, but here's the explanation: the opening POV is not your own (not the protagonist's). you'll switch into your own character after that sequence ends, and be able to choose one of three pronoun sets

My dearest developer, I have encountered a problem: right after I say "I should probably run for the elevator" or something, it gives me this screen:

I've tried pressing F5 (which on my laptop is also the mic button for some reason), but nothing happens. I've tried the game three times, all in web browser and on Harder difficulty, but always end up with this page in the same place (right after I meet the Gray Person and decide to run).

Any clue what's going on?? Is this part of the game??

The only thing different is that mine has a stitched mouth and the Nimbus ephemera instead---literally everything else is the exact same

I had this issue as well; the freezers under "Meat and Fish" are just empty. And this was the tutorial, so definitely wasn't after losing. So sad! The music, visuals, and other audio (like the squeaking of the cart wheels haha) are really good -- would love to be able to play.
