Hey MoyerTV!
I love your horror game playthroughs! I made a terrifying first-person indie horror game called Nightmare Corridor. It has multiple chapters, intense mazes, and ultra graphics for the best experience. The game is available on Itch.io and GameJolt, but it’s best played on PC!
I’d love to see you play it! Hope you enjoy the scares! 🎃🔥
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve already added the updates you mentioned:
1-The menu bug where the mouse isn’t visible after dying has been fixed, so you should be able to quit or start a new game now. 2-The flashlight has been brightened and lighting adjustments have been made to improve visibility, while maintaining the scary atmosphere. 3-I’ve adjusted the emit effect, changing it from blue to red as per your suggestion, along with some other tweaks for better immersion. 4-The monster now speeds up when close to the player, increasing the intensity and adding to the horror experience.
Flashlight, Faster Monsters, and Visual Enhancements! Release Date: February 21, 2025 Version: 1.1.0
Update Highlights:
Flashlight Toggle: You can now toggle the flashlight on and off, allowing for a more immersive experience as you navigate through the dark maze. Monsters Speed Up: Monsters become faster as they approach the player, raising the stakes and making every encounter more intense. Visual Enhancements: The orb’s emission color has been updated to red to match its appearance, creating a more cohesive visual experience. Mouse Unlock: The mouse is now unlocked for smoother navigation and interaction. Performance Optimizations: Lowered graphics for better performance on lower-end and mid-tier PCs, ensuring a smoother experience for more players. Description: This update to Nightmare Corridor Chapter 2 brings new gameplay elements like the flashlight toggle and faster monsters to make your escape even more thrilling! The visual fixes, including the orb’s color change, help tighten up the atmosphere, while the optimizations ensure that the game runs smoothly on lower-end PCs. Get ready for a more intense, immersive horror experience!
Stay Scared! Nightmare Studios
Hey ThatVidartGuy,
Thanks for playing Nightmare Corridor and sharing your thoughts! I appreciate the humor, haha—Pepino beating the bean would definitely be something! 😄
I understand your point about the price. As a new indie developer, I’m still learning and trying to find the right balance between offering a fun experience and valuing the time and effort put into making the game. The feedback about the gameplay and lack of an ending is super helpful too—I’m already working on updates to improve the game, add more content, and make it more engaging.
In the meantime, I’ve actually added a free access option on Itch.io so more people can try the game without paying. I hope you’ll give it another shot after the updates, and feel free to share more suggestions!
Thanks again for playing and for the feedback!
