Thank you! We were impressed ourselves with how well it came together too! Haha

Really fun puzzles, super great ideas and execution! Nice work!

The moonkeys are HYPED! Nice little game, loved the parallax and clean artwork! Well done!

Well, that was a tense 18 seconds. I wonder if I could do it faster? Amazing job, I spent way way way too long playing this. haha

Nice little asteroids game with a fun twist with the rhythm. It would be really cool to lean into the rhythm game style a little more.

Solid little game. Great art and vibes, upgrades were nice and mechanics were solid. I wish I could see which upgrade I'd purchased and get a better idea of how everything stacks. Really nice job!

It also helps to design the systems smartly. For example, the upgrades system is designed to add upgrades of any a few generic types extremely easily, and more complex upgrades aren’t much harder. All the logic around the resources is central and calculating what they should be based on upgrades is also trivial. Basically, all the systems are setup at least semi-modulary, and they all work together and talk together in smart, but also intentionally “dumb” ways. Haha so if we wanted to add a new resource, we just add a new resource and can use it right away. Same with buildings and anything that doesn’t require new super unique behavior.

That’s a good idea about the notification on upgrade availability.

Astounding! Probably the only 10/10 game I've played so far. It was a simple concept with an interesting and funny story and dialogue. It had meaningful upgrades, and some really fun mechanics. I loved the goblins and such. I wish you could move the machines and stuff around (Maybe you can and I didn't know how) and I wish the goblins were a little smarter most of mine jut sat on top of each other on the press towards the end. lol but seriously, great job, lovely polish and actually enjoyable game! I played over an hour to get down to 0 boxes. haha

This is my first time doing a jam with two developers, and I was surprised at how much we were able to get done! We also tried really hard to keep the scope around what we were confident we could do and we even had to cut a few things.

Just out of curiosity, what hardware/browser are you both running? I'd love to go through it to optimize and see what could be causing those lag issues.

It was working pretty great on my 5 year old macbook pro, though I admit that's not exactly a super weak system haha, until I got a ton of  units and things going on and then the sounds started wigging out, but I never experienced much lag. But it obviously is having some issues as you both mention.

Thanks for playing!

Nice work! Really clever idea. I especially when you get some of the modifiers and such that swap the negatives and positives. Just becomes something you need to try to track and it all gets out of wack. haha nice work!

Really fun little game! Fun and frantic, well executed! Nice work!

Thanks!!

Really really solid! Super interesting and very creative! I wasn't able to solve it, but I felt like I should be able to if I put enough time into it. I could feel myself getting close. Really well done!

This is so cool and creative. Love the idea and the execution was nice, although it reminded me how terrible I am at drawing, especially with a mouse under pressure. lol Nice work!

Super cool! Very inspired from slay the spire but with some really creative twists. The art, of course, is amazing. I like the idea of adjusting the units values and adding in the math to try to get the enemy to 0 exactly. I noticed a few small bugs, some of the text on some cards was cutoff, and some of the enemies statuses above their heads sometimes weren't above the unit themselves. I also believe I hit the enemy for more than would take them to 0 a few times and didn't take any damage. Either way, the game itself played great and looked great and had really cool ideas, not to mention a ton of really great polish. Really nice work!

Fun little game! Loved the tricks and the points system.

Yeah! That Hexagon based board game vibes are strong here. Haha

there are for sure a lot of things that could be improved. That being said, the tutorial should explain the basics and each building has a tooltip describing what it does, so there’s at least a little extra info there.

But I agree, it needs more work in that area, and some additional balancing. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

It’s kinda hard. Lol But winnable!

Thanks! Yeah, the tutorial needs some beefing up. Haha it does take a few runs to start to really click,  it after that you’ll for sure get that castle! Thanks for playing!

thanks man! It was very fun to make!

Awesome! Thanks for playing! It turned out really fun for sure! I agree the difficulty might ramp a bit fast. I played it for about an hour or more before I was finally able to beat it. Haha it’s definitely possible, but not simple. For a future version a lot more time will need to be spent balancing it. I’m glad you liked it!

Thanks! Yeah, the tutorial, as usual, was a later addition that needs a second look for sure. haha

Thanks! It was a blast to build, the tech tree ended up working surprisingly well too.

Thanks! Yeah it ramps up pretty quick! The tech tree was fun to build out.

Thank you

Thanks! It was a ton of fun to build!

Thanks! The difficulty ramps up pretty quick for sure.

Thanks!

Thanks! We enjoyed making it a lot!

Really nice work! Loved the ascetics and vibe of the whole thing. The game mechanics were really creative. Once I got the hang of it I got into a solid flow and was able to beat all the levels. It got pretty tough and felt like it'd be hard to beat, but once you get a few turrets and some upgrades it start to become more possible then it's just throwing every little bit of extra energy you have to the battery. Fun game!

Thanks!!

Thanks! Yeah it gets pretty crazy pretty fast. Finding ways to balance upgrades and resources is super important. It definitely takes a few runs to get the flow down.

lol solid little game. Nice art style, the backup bomb came outta nowhere! Nice work!

No worries! They do feel like they take a little longer than they should to appear. haha

Thanks!

Thank you!
