Thank you so much, your feedback will definitely help me with future updates.

The concept of invincibility is very well implemented, but it could be improved in how the player experiences it.

Of course

I loved the way you applied the concept of invincibility, since the player is invincible until they no longer want to be, simply by lying that I wasn’t hit.

thxxxxxx!

Oh man, what a drag, I wish everyone could see my game.

This happened in my game too, I basically doubled the speed on everything to fill the gap, because I was running out of time since the game jam was ending.

Thanks a lot for playing and for the detailed feedback — I really appreciate you taking the time to write this!

About the pricing: the “name your price” setting was left on by mistake during submission. While it doesn’t break the jam rules, I agree it’s not ideal for a jam environment where accessibility and feedback should come first. I’ll make sure to keep it free during the event and only consider pricing after it’s over.

Regarding the doors: that’s a completely fair point. The lack of a tooltip/clear indication is on me — I can see how that made it confusing to understand that they were interactable. I’m going to improve the UI and add a proper prompt so it’s clear that you can open them.

About the download: while the jam rules do allow a Windows build, I understand your point about convenience. A browser version or easier access would definitely help more people try the game. I focused on getting a stable build submitted in time, but I agree that improving accessibility is important and I’ll aim for that in future updates/jams.

Thanks again for the honest feedback — it really helps me improve!

This even happens on my computer when I was testing if the installation was working. You can fix it by clicking on “more options” and then “install anyway” or something like that, but I can’t force you to do that.

Thank you so much! I was going to make the Samurai Time in Unity, but since I don’t know how to use it, I ended up giving up and going to Game Maker since I’m more familiar with it. So I admire you for making something so good even with a new engine!

How does someone create something so good in 2 weeks?

Your game, honestly, has the best art in this jam!

Platform games are great, but this one has something that makes me like it more, I don’t really know why.

You can see how much effort you put into this game! I hope Nintendo doesn’t see this, lol

I really enjoyed this game; it reminds me a lot of those arcade games, but it would be more fun if the player didn’t have to walk exactly over the orbs to collect them.

Your game is really good too, it truly makes you feel invincible.

teu jogo é tão bom cara, brasil no topo!

Great game, really!

OBRIGADOO, VAMO BRASILLL

os jogos de samurai vao dominar essa jam!

Please rate my game, and I’ll rate yours. I really put a lot of effort into the jam and would be very sad if I didn’t get enough reviews or even a mention :(

Your game is really fun, it’s impressive what you’ve managed to do in 2 weeks!

The key is in room 6. You enter through the middle door in room 2 and then through the door on the right.

Hey everyone! 👋

I just released my game SamuraiTime and I’d really appreciate it if you could check it out and leave a rating or some feedback!

It’s a fast-paced samurai experience with a time-freeze mechanic where you move faster than your enemies can even react ⚔️⏱️

Any feedback, ratings, or comments help a lot and mean a ton to me as a developer 🙏 Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot! Glad you liked the time freeze mechanic, means a lot 🙏 A full game is definitely something I’m considering!

This game is amazing!

I can only export the game to Ubuntu, is that okay? Is it a limitation of Game Maker

Hey friend, thanks for replying first, but let’s say I’ve already sorted out the music part, I’ve already composed and programmed all of it, so I don’t really need it anymore, but if you want to exchange contacts, for future projects, here’s my Discord: prxciosx.

Thank you for the opportunity to post my game in your game jam :)

Hey,

I’m currently working on a game called SamuraiTime for the GameName Jam and I’m looking for someone to collaborate on the soundtrack.

About the game: SamuraiTime is a fast-paced action game with a focus on time mechanics and invincibility. It has a stylized samurai theme, leaning a bit toward a darker atmosphere.

What I’m looking for: Someone who can create immersive music that fits different moments of the game, like combat, tension, and calmer sections. A style inspired by feudal Japan would fit really well, but I’m open to ideas.

Collab info: This is a jam project, so it’s not paid, but you’ll be fully credited and it can be a good addition to your portfolio. I’m open to collaboration and creative input.

If you’re interested, feel free to comment or send me a message.

Thanks.

Thx! Inspired by games like Katana Zero, but with my own twist (enemies with different time vulnerabilities). Still working hard on it!

Valeu amigo! Espero receber uma colocação boa na Jam!
