Sorry about that — it’s my first jam on itch. I thought I could revert the deletion before saving the edit, but it turns out I couldn’t. I’ll be more careful next time!

The best solution I’ve found so far leaves just one step left, but I’m not even sure if it’s actually optimal 😂

Thanks for the detailed feedback! This is actually just a single-level game. I got caught up with other things when the jam started, so by the time I began working on it, I was pretty short on time — the actual development time was about one day plus one night.
So yeah… the difficulty curve ended up a bit cursed. I might update a post-jam version with more preparatory levels like you suggested!

Solved it by coding. Some pretty weird words are counted AS words, though some other words that can be found in a normal dictionary are not. Still, the idea is interesting.

Fantasitc level design! But finishing the game in the RIGHT way seems to only achieve the same normal ending? Or am I missing something here?

Great puzzle! I tried to draw the pattern in the thumbnail expecting to reveal some secret easter eggs or something, but there is none lol.
