I had the same problem try clearing your cached data and reopening the game that is what worked for me.

I think it might just be my device because other games from this site have the same problem
I updated my game on Android recently and whenever I open up the app there is no sound of any kind it worked once and when I closed the app and opened it up again later nothing could be heard.
