Yes, the demo is quite short and stop after the 1st city (you can do 2 of the side quest tho'), as for potential bug are you playing on Android version or Windows version?

You need to complete the level. You can usually move left and right to navigate through it. 😕 If it’s too difficult, you can skip it by selecting “Skip Prologue.”
Because you do not have to pay again since if you have already paid you just have to request the game or steam key on discord, I can't do it another way since that's how itch work

I found it really strange :( before updating everythings I try with multiple account who own the game and they were still able to download the new version w/ out additionals fee, please come to discord I will provide you with a key I'll try to fix this issue ASAP
