I finished the witch academy (I think) beat Minerva, but am unable to leave. what am I missing?

Okay, I am playing 501 and loving it. But I think I got to the academy late in the game. Each time I have run through it, I get to the end, and I can not leave the academy. I get to the gate, and the blue barrier is up. I also know that I lose track of the main event in the log at some point

Can someone give me the order in which the main events should be played?
