Thanks for the help, I will test the cache idea soon.  The only reason I had the issue was that I haven't finished the base game yet.  I am into chapter 2 but I have been pacing myself so sometimes when I am going through the sandbox grindy parts it is useful to skip or half read, but sometimes you run into something new.  So overall even if the issue isn't fixed by the cache it still shouldn't be an issue.  Thank you again.

So I had version 1.05.  Will the hotfix for 1.09b to c also work for 1.05?

Whenever I download a new version of the renpy games it will transfer the saves somehow but it usually forgets what dialog I have seen before so the skip function won't be an option.  Makes it hard to determine if it is unfound vs already seen content.  So if the above isn't possible how do I transfer saves and progress in a way that doesn't cause this to happen?

Okay so I think I am at the end of Chapter 2 (Act 2, part 2?) and I was curious if there is anything that you can miss side quest, collectable or cutscene wise before entering the church?  For example I still have the college side-quest to finish and I am missing a scene with the Rinkos (and the fourth Asteria one but I bet I missed that one in her story line).

Oh probably already mentioned somewhere below but, the menus need some work.  Backing out of one of the my notes subpages should take you back to the my notes page not the game (or make it act like the settings menu or just line each along the top).  Also I can't seem to leave the game to the main menu, only quit.

Thanks for clarifying.  When checking task manager I did not see anything running, so I assumed that to be the case.  I do not usually play clicker games so I thought the game had to be open to progress.  The reason I tried this one out is because I found a demo on new grounds a few years back.  By offline progress I assume you mean closed game progress and not that this game has an online mode.

Okay so I closed down the application and left.  When I came back I had way more points.  How is this happening?  Is the game looking at a clock or running in the background?
