Super fun game, I have more positive than negative to share. Retro arcade graphics are to my taste, very appealing. The power ups match the pace of difficulty in my opinion and I would def be interested to play a fuller game with more opportunity to unlock the skills/powers. I finished the demo in 40 mins.
Constructive notes:
- There is a clickable tab in the upgrades menu that has the character's avatar, as it appears. Clicking it makes the tab shade or unshaded. I have no idea what it does and there's no indication.
- When you return to the game from the skills upgrade screen, the aim behaves differently until you click with the mouse on the game screen, it keeps the auto aim thing displayed whereas normally you have to hold down the mouse to see the aim trajectory. I'm using Debian 12 with latest Firefox, if that's relevant.
- Some of the power ups aren't clearly described, like auto spawn which left me wondering if that eliminates the re-spawn price or if it automatically pays the re-spawn price, making it necessary to spend all the money before dying.
