Haven't finished the game but I'm enjoying it so far!!

I might be experiencing a glitch? SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED YET: 

I'm trying to get Sean a glass of orange soda but can't pick up the glass in the kitchen. I can't pick up any other items in there, but I don't know if I'm in the wrong room.

Reminded me of my grandfather. We lost him just before the Covid outbreak and only in isolation did I realize I really didn't know much about him. All I know of him are retold stories now. I could've asked him more questions.
