Super fun, I enjoyed almost everything about this game, but there is one thing I'd suggest; when you throw your gun, you are restricted by its trajectory until you catch it. Making it maintain your sideways momentum means that you wouldn't have to stop in the middle of combat to do this, and could keep strafing around the enemy to avoid its shots, as long as you don't change direction.

Awesome game, I'll definitely be watching Jelly Brain closely to see what you do next.

Ah, I see. That's actually a good idea.

Yeah, a new ball spawns when you get one in, it's supposed to be an endless thing. Thanks for the feedback!

I didn't get any silhouettes, though the bar is there. If you know how to fix I would appreciate it!

Thank you! Yeah, sorry about that, there was about 5 minutes on the clock when I added that 😅 definitely gonna fix it for the next jam I participate in!

Elf killed his assigned family? more like elf killed the internals of my laptop... sorry I couldn't play it, because it sounded like my computer was about to explode. Maybe something to do with unoptimized 3d models? The grappling hook also didn't work, so I didn't really have any way of getting around. Again, apologies for my technological limitations, but I seriously wasn't able to do anything.

This game is HARD. The elves come in great numbers, and they come fast - thanks to the short screen height, I was barely able to see them before they fell off the bottom! I also had trouble switching colours in time as your paddle changes on mouse up instead of down. However underneath all of its clankiness is a snappy game that is a blast to play, and I would love to see this prototype refined and polished as a full experience. A great concept limited by execution.

This was a really polished experience, you even added an options menu! I'm also very impressed with the completed art assets and how the character bounces around in animations. In terms of originality it lacks a bit, essentially being a google dinosaur clone ...but it's a tried and true formula, and I personally had a lot of fun playing it. Another note would be to add a looping and/or parallaxing background to make it feel like you are moving, but that's getting into nitpicking territory.

A great overall submission, well done!

P.S. - thank you for making it playable in browser, its super convenient!

There were no controls on the itch page or in game, so I wasn't sure how to do anything or what the hotbar slots were for. I found Chipy, some dialogue played, but when it finished the game wouldn't let me move.

I did like the art and atmosphere, and its clear a  lot of time and effort went into it, so it was unfortunate that the game wouldn't let me properly enjoy it.

When I started this game, I was very confused. After wandering around for a while I am still confused, but I found the "Ohio exclusion zone". Also I didn't find any elves.

great game concept and execution! I would love to see a control rebinding option though, as x and space are quite close to each other and I'd like to rebind my jump to something easier to reach.

Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot! We had a plan to fill the maze with UI from different parts of social media, like DMs, A feed and the discover tab but ultimately ran out of time.  Good luck with your Youtube channel!
