4. A beautiful homage to the original work. This piece was immaculate. The graphics were great and the scenery was made with care and atmosphere in mind. The noises were terrifying and disorienting, exactly how they should be! The adapted story was nice as well!

Needs Some Work
To begin, the moving mechanic of clicking to move led to some glitching through walls which took away from the horror of the game. Secondly, the beginning cut scene with the main character had some bad clipping and texture errors. The game play features also had some problems. For instance, during the wheelchair portion of the game, I died and was still able to survive, but was now invulnerable to damage? That also greatly took away from the horror elements which there were little to none. As far as plot and consistency issues. This is sort of a nitpick, but the character is able to wheel down a set of stairs in a wheelchair. Also, during the second part, the character stands up without reason it seems? Possibly I am missing some context clues, but that left me very confused.
Here are some more glitches and bugs I found:
Ammo is able to go negative in part 2
Able to activate final cut scene by walking to the tunnel
Lamp at beginning of game clips into your wheelchair?
Pill cut scene overrides hit animation
Character's torso warps when pointing gun in direction other that one they're moving in.
5 stars! A truly amazing game! The old ps1 aesthetic really adds to the feeling. The mood and lighting contributed to the complete dread I was feeling. I jumped a few times, especially at the end. It gave me a sense of paranoia, fear, and nerves, which in this case is exactly what I wanted! I can't wait to possibly see more projects, you really have a talent for this, I can tell!
5 stars! Very easy on the eyes as far as graphics go and a great slow-burner as far as horror goes. The "trapped in a snowstorm" aesthetic really worked for this game as well. It added to the idea of being completely and udderly trapped. As well, the ending where the entity was up close made me feel claustrophobic in a good way, and further added to the amazing craftsmanship of the piece. Mechanics were easy to manipulate and clearly there was real effort put into this! By far the best free horror game I've played so far on itch.
Intrestingly average. Graphics were emaculate, and the mechanics were smooth. There was a clear language barrier that took a bit away (no fault of your own). Also, the story was near hard to follow, and almost comedic. For the character to "go to bed" after they've found a body in their house is laughable. All in all, some honestly good jumpscares, and more than a few problems and plot issues to fix.
