Couldn't play game, it would just return an error saying something like CreateProcess() returned 2.

I did finish the game, just to clarify!

[SPOILERS]

Eldritch horrors in space beyond our comprehension? How lovely. The music was absolutely amazing, the setting felt real, and the logs felt, for the most part, very well written. Unlike similar games, I was fairly well entertained and didn't end up bored reading them. The balance of information felt very good, not too overwhelming, not too many characters, etc. I will also mention, the music was perfect for the feel of the game. This is my favorite game in the jam so far.

However, I cannot deny that I needed help figuring out some of the information. Specifically, the password for the computer. The puzzle for the correct space according to the map was extremely unclear, should I count 1 for planet? For 1 of each line? What about the diagonal line? Do I input it XY, or YX?

Overall, I think it was extremely well put together, with only a few minor issues hurting the overall amazing experience.

I tried to finish the game, but I couldn't find a way to open the closet door on the first floor and one of the second story rooms. I think I liked it otherwise, but I just couldn't for the life of me figure out what else to do.

I do feel like you missed out on most of the fun by not reading all the content, and potentially even learning the full story.

its kind of weird that you used AI for writing in a game jam about writing, like wheres the creativity?

The map was pretty confusing to navigate, and I couldn't figure out what to when the map opened up. I couldn't really finish the game because I didn't know what to do.

(1 edit)

Funny game, but you didn't translate the message written in blood, so it felt like I was missing a crucial piece of evidence. Otherwise, I liked it.
