Thanks for the feedback ! Yeah, adjusting the tank control in first person was a bit too much finnicky…

Congrats on the game ! It was, I think, the highlight of the jam for me. Awesome idea, great level design and sublime atmosphere !

It’s sooooo cool to see a game made with GBStudio, and with a great concept ! Maybe some fixes on enemies and wall collisions and a way to reset upon death but overall, it was a good experience !

Hahaha thanks ! I wanted to give a Resident Evil feeling with the transition hahaha

Thanks ! Exactly, the diversifier is Prison Break ! Yeah, tank control in first person doesn’t quite fit and I tried to fiddle a bit to make it work but it can be hard to know your direction

Thanks ! The filter by ROT-7 was added quite late in development but it was really needed for the thematic aspects of the game

Hahaha thanks ! I think the flaws in my game making skills bled in a way into the gameplay

Hahaha probably the best outcome of the game (maybe not…) It’s so nice that it evoked something to you that could parallel life ! So nice to hear !!! Thank you so much !

Thank you so much ! The idea of a game too big to explore in 20 seconds was just too funny to me to not implement it hahaha

Thank you so much ! I had the idea for the game while browsing De Gaulle’s wikipedia page, lost in an usual wikipedia doom scroll. And since I wanted to try the Bitsy engine, I thought it would be a good fit.

I think the game works best in french because of the political theme and relations to De Gaulle with French history but a good english adaptation would be with Churchill I think.

Thanks! Feedback and gunplay loop could have been handled better, I think we introduced feedback a bit late in development. But glad that you seems to have like the game!

Thanks a lot!

ah i see, in retrospect, cutting in the drawing room the wrong ending where you kill the boss was maybe a mistake. while the intent we went for was using the gun to freeze the boss’s attack, i think the lack of sound effect combined with no clear end goals for attacks led to confusion

Thanks a lot! So glad you liked it, it was fuk working on it ! But it’s true that the first reloading is not as obvious as we thought hahaha, maybe requiring it after playing with the browser ? But that’s the fun of a jam in a way

Thanks! Feedbacks when the player gets hit ?

Thanks! Hahaha I think when we put the screenshots, we maybe thought little of the suprise effect than what it could have been, I guess it’s the downside of game dev, you lessen your own suprise effect.

Awesome ! Thanks for the video ! I will improve my tutorial skills hahha

Thanks !! The picture to GameBoy turned out great !

Thanks ! I tried a new style !

The intention for this game was mostly to test out game mechanics but yeah, it’s a bit lackluster in term of player-design and tutorial but thanks for the feedback !

Thanks !

Thanks ! I tried a new style for this jam and like how it turned out !

I should really work on my tutorial skills however yes hahaha

if only…

thanks ! i wanted to use the jam to test Twine and express my frustration at the system !
