There is already a version for Apple Silicon Macs available and I added just now a Intel version for Macs.

The Apple Silicon version works great and also the Intel version shouldn't cause any problems.

You can also play the Windows version with Wine on a Intel Mac.

Of course, you can play it with the keyboard – which is significantly better than a joystick – but unfortunately, assigning a key for a diagonal jump isn't possible. I've configured the key bindings as shown in the image, but the Q, E, Y, and C keys don't work. This is because the joystick programming only supports up, down, left, and right. Frankly, Brektown's joystick programming is terrible. Without a trainer, it's practically unplayable.
I should release an update...

It's basically the same game but more comfortable to play. But keyboard only.

Good job! Keep it up! You can slow down the speed if the game is too fast in some situation! 

There's a cheat for moving through the levels and unlimited invisibility. On the title screen you can enter a specific word (maybe the name of a  older game??!) and there will be a thin grey line around the game screen to show you cheat mode is active. 

if you need a hint fpr level 32:
- at the position of the wizard go up and leave the screen to the left
- arrived on the right side of the level leave the screen to the right
- get the eye
- leave the screen to the left
- get the key and head to the door

Sorry. The cheat is only available in the XL version. I suggest to play this one only by keyboard (simulated joystick). Works like the XL version.

There's nothing else besides this.
There's a hidden cheat mode to skip between levels, but you can enter it on the title screen. A tip: the best wizard ;-)

The ghost appears randomly only when you take a chest. It disappears after 30 seconds or if you activate the invisibility spell by pressing I and running into it - that grants you 250 points.

I think there are already some cracked versions to find somewhere in the internet with trainers like unlimited lives and the possibility to jump through the levels.

I'm sorry it's not... no cheat, no trainer is included. it's hardcore I know. you can only play several levels through the editor

BnB is significantly trickier in some places, and sometimes even impossible if you've blocked the bubbles or yourself with a rock. You can't coax the bubbles out. You just have to wait. That can take quite a while sometimes. But all the levels are doable.

The game is also quite old and doesn't have any built-in cheats or trainers. Maybe I should change that?! We'll see.

My main priority is that the player enjoys the game! That's why I'm always trying to improve things wherever possible. Even my testers sometimes overlook details that someone else might notice or find annoying. Like I said, you get used to some details over time, and if you test daily, even the most awful controls become a breeze.

My next game will be an RPG. At least there won't be any annoying controls, but I'm sure there will be other things that come straight from hell, hahaha.

you have to copy the "S" file. I suggest to use a simple C64 copy app like Supercopy, Turbocopy etc.  inside the C64 sandbox.
