This might be a bit of a spoiler, but maybe you can think of the kitty was the Emperor who suppressed the news and was trying to escape? And that why he was called a 'monster'?

I concept of the game! The player being lost in an unknown place and finally making it home after working hard to collect the crystals from the three temples.
However, I found that the key and crystals didn't really affect the ending. Also in the collecting crystal room in coordinates (6, 6). I can go back and forth to another room.

Moo!

I love the aesthetic of this game! The pink color palette and animations give me a warm vibe. The only thing is, I had a hard time finding the imperfect apple in the second room, and there’s a coin at the bottom right of the crab (around 14, 10) in the third room that seems impossible to grab. Great work!

Unfortunately, you can't grow the seed... This refers to the plant that can't grow in the Secret Ending. I should probably add some more dialogue here.
In the normal ending, it is more of a fairytale, since it is originally a classic Hero vs. Monster game. Therefore... in comparison, the Secret Ending is more... dark, maybe?  :')

Very cool transition effect! The character and environmental designs are cute. It is good design to lock the door when I don't pick up the mail. I tried to avoid the mail, but it's seems impossible to finish the ending without it.

I am interested in the backstory! And the character designs too! Maybe it is just my dark mind, or the trash actually dead bodies? Because they look like the character we are moving, a round head and a body? And one of the sprites looks like an axe. I apologize if my guesses are wrong.
But I am curious about the background story more, and why other sprites are here, the building itself doesn't seem normal based on the dialogue. Great work!

Thank you for the feedback! It motivated me and made my day to hear you say the story was dark, that was exactly my goal! The 'angel' exists just to convince you that 'really nothing is there' to bring you back to the story. LOL

A very cool concept! At first, I actually thought the cat foods were obstacles and the food were in the next room, turns out the obstacles was what I was looking for.
Also, it is fun that the cat will tell us the coordinates. Even though they aren't essential for gameplay right now, but I love to see puzzles where we actually have to use them.

Hi Professor! I have updated the game to a new version, it should now have better visuals for the exits in the castle. The arrows like the one in the top-right section you mentioned, now serve as hints to guide you on where to go. Also, there should no longer be walls that players can walk through.

Hi Professor! Thanks for playing! I am glad you liked the design!

You actually haven't finished the game yet! The game was completely finished and it should tell you whenever you reached the end.

I apologize for the confusion with the walls and the arrow.
Is it only in the room with the dark red background and mint green tiles? Or are other rooms also confusing? I would like to try to fix it.
If you find yourself lost inside the castle, I recommend walking straight up and to the right!

There are puzzles in the game, but the elements in the castle are just decorations, including the one in the top of the right side section.

I posted a walkthrough on the Open Lab if you would like to finish the game! Here is the link: https://openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu/mmp-270-spring-2026/2026/03/11/bitsy-game-wake-up-...

I think your story is very detailed,  adding names and backgrounds really helps narrative the story. However, most of the choices don't lead to a different ending.
Being forced to cooperate with the demands of higher-ups really made me empathize with the protagonist’s feelings of frustration and powerlessness. I think this succeeds in telling Alex’s story, but it turns out to be more of a story than an actual game.

I love how detailed the information is for every star and galaxy. It really expands the world instead of just having us stay and explore on the space station.

This is a great story! I didn't know much about graffiti before, but this definitely increased my knowledge. Also, it was honestly pretty creepy when the telephone booth started ringing right next to me.

I like your thumbnail photo of the hallway, it reminds me of the classic movie "The Shining", which creates a sense of creepiness. However, I feel lost about the background of the story, What is my task? Am I here to find someone, or am I trying to escape? Have I lost my memories, so I don't know what to do?
Also I wish I knew the background of this hallway and the sign. I hope I can have more adventure while discovering this place., that can clear my confusion."Why does reading the sign lead to a different ending?"

Great job! I like your art and the adventure style of the game. I can see how your colors and designs reflect the different personalities of the dragons. For example, the image of the Fierce Dragon lowering its head makes it look like it’s about to attack.
I also like that the game has different branches. However, I got stuck at the (mountain-return vine) and (Go back), I could only press the Undo button that provided by Twine. Also, I might have miss some content, but I would love to see more of the emotional bond between me and the dragon.
