Thank you 🙏 I'm really happy with how the characters turned out. I started with big white shape and then carved out contours and added strong shadows and finished with small details. Eyes are difficult. So much can change with one pixel.

Less is more :) the details you put it make an impression. It is tough in 1bit to keep visual legibility that works in gameplay context, without using outlines. And when you do use outlines, it feels to me like you can't get as small as you'd like with details.
