(Highly Recommend This Game)

Full review and playthrough are below 👇🏼

+Thematics, ambiance and spookiness are very high

+Storyline and plot are thick with some unexpected aspects to keep you invested

+Controls and gameplay are well designed

+World or "levels" are also well designed

+Moments of pure terrifying jumpscares/horror

And so far, my only negative would be:

-It takes wayyy too long to drive to another location

Overall score: 9.5/10. Phenomenal game and I highly highly recommend!

I really enjoyed playing this short horror game. Here's my review!

+Artstyle, music and atmosphere are top tier
+Frosty is not what you think he will be in a horror game
+Game design/"levels" are quick and easy with some nice lore to tie it all in
+Frosty being a "weeping angel" type took me by surprise
+The game doesn't try to be something it isn't, and is straightforward

+-I do wish it was a longer experience with more actual interactions with Frosty

-Actual jumpscare felt cheap compared to how much ominousness and dread you feel playing through the game.
-I feel there could've been more story especially to tie it all in
-There's almost no direction in the game - you have to figure it out all yourself. Maybe not the worst thing, but a small negative to me

Overall, for the experience, I definitely recommend it. A cute, yet disconcerting game! 7.5/10

Here are my thoughts on Fatal Midnight:

+Atmosphere is sufficiently dark and creepy
+Storyline and development
+Plot twist shocked me
+"Monster" actually got me a few times
+Sound design

+-Gameplay is a little hit and miss
+-This house is very disorienting

-Cookie cutter design
-Not much in terms of replayability

Overall, a solid 8/10.  Recommend!

My review of Super Mario Bros...but different

+Very short game

+Cheesy, so you may get a chuckle or two

-Very cheaply made, slippery controls, not much atmosphere

-Platforming game that gives you no info on what to do so if you fail, you do it over and over.

-There aren't really any jumpscares, or much spookiness to it.

-If you get caught, you reset from the complete beginning and it sucks to replay it all even if it is like, eight minutes long.

-Lazily made and sloppily designed

I recommend the game only if you want to credit yourself for playing. Otherwise, I rate this a 4/10.

However, to the developer, I only critique because I wish for improvement! You can get there with enough drive and care. I did at least enjoy it a little bit. Keep it up!

My thoughts on Crowded. Followed.

+Great game, brimming with atmosphere

+Constant dread and limited sprint is a difficult but playable mechanic.

+Jumpscares will catch you off guard

+Reminds me of a VHS style horror game in quality, controls and gameplay

+Good lore and storytelling

+-It wish there was more!

Strong strong game for a first playthrough of a demo. I highly recommend and want to see this completed. 10/10

Here is my review for Everything was a Nightmare

+Good atmosphere

+Well-built puzzle

+Decent lore aspects and themes

+-It is a very short game

-The jumpscares feel very cheap and infrequent

-There is no save so if you die, you restart, which is a pain.

-Sound quality to me is lacking.

Overall, I give this game a solid 7. Not bad, but nothing groundbreaking.

I do recommend!

hoh wow, what a game! I wanted to play the original and I was not disappointed. A lot of my + will be a - for others, so some of my "recounting" of the game will be +-.

+The storyline, visuals and mechanics were extremely well designed
+The amount of dread and dreariness you feel going day by day makes this uncanny in a good way
+The absolute plot twist made me feel horrible and cry, a mark of a really well crafted storyline.
+Claustrophobic

+-VERY dark plot twist, enough to make you upset/cry
+-Depending on how high your tolerance for certain things are, the ending(s) of this game will make you question life.
+-Perhaps isn't based on a true story, but IS applicable to many real-life situations, which just furthers the absolute garishly horrible realization you'll get at the end of this game.
+-Controls are a slight bit clunky, but that may be a design choice.

Overall, I've rarely played an indie game, whether horror or not that made me this emotionally moved in a positive >or< negative way. If you're sensitive (like I am), this may not be for you. I however, give this a 10/10. I doubt there is much you could critique this game for.

Among the first games I did with a "decent" recording software.

+Maze-like search & find to complete sort of game
+Some really big jumpscares that did scare me
+Well designed game with good atmosphere and bits of lore to uncover
+Not tied to a super long and stressful game - game is completable in under 10 minutes.

+-There isn't much in terms of different tasks to do or goals to complete - you only have your goal, no such thing as side quests

-...it's like a maze, with very little in the way of direction.

Overall, a well-put together short horror game that I recommend. 8.5/10

This is my first actual review of a game, but to say I was impressed is an understatement.
+Atmosphere on point
+Lots of good spooks, some that actually scared me pretty wild
+Enough lore to tie in a good development and piece together a story
+Well-constructed visuals, gameplay

+-It's a short horror game, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Overall, it is a solid 9/10. Doesn't have the quite edge to make this an incredible game, but it is very good in its own right!

Strongly recommend!
