This is a very great tool! The visuals are really cute and cool!

If I could make some QoL suggestions:

1)  Can you make it so the "Randomize" button doesn't affect the volume, or at least make that a toggleable option? I got jumpscared a few times after pressing the Randomize button after I turned down the volume on a previous sound.

2) The UI shows the last button you pressed (e.g. Sparkle, Boom, Impact). I can tell at a glance what sound I'll get when I attempt to export the WAV file without needing to press the export button to see the filename.

3) For the sliders, have the option of clicking anywhere on the bar and making the slider "jump" to that position. Might be easier on people so they don't have to always click and drag the handle to adjust a particular parameter.

It's OK if these aren't doable or you aren't interested in implementing these suggestions.

Thanks so much for this tool!

As per the dev a while ago, Archipelagates won't ever come to Steam, unfortunately.

Heya, I had the same question and I did some digging and found it out!

The saves are in your AppData Folder:
AppData\LocalLow\RalivDev\Archipelagates\saves

Unfortunately Archipelagates will never be released on Steam because of an issue during the review process. It will only be available on Itchio. :(

The .rar file is not the game itself but its a type of archive file. You will need a program that can extract .rar files like Winrar for example. Everything you need will be found in that archive.

Nice aesthetics but it is incredibly difficult to read. After I get attacked and begin to bleed out, it takes me approximately half the bleed out timer to read the message on the screen. After that, I pretty much have to panic run through rooms because there's no time for me to read/process any of the messages... I feel like if your game is supposed to be primarily text based, you shouldn't make it this difficult for players to visually parse the info on the screen.

I'll keep it on my watch list for now but in its current state it is very frustrating to play. Granted, I'm playing this on the mac version since the browser version doesn't work for me so maybe your previous adjustments weren't applied to the mac version?
