Right now I'm using 8x black and white displays for RAM, giving me 256 bytes. I'll have to try out the color version!

I implemented an 8-bit CPU similar to Ben Eater's! So far it's only programmed to count down by tens and then stop on overflow, but it's a start!

I also experience this on Mac with apple silicon.

I think you want to click "customize" on the save component screen. That brings up a window where you can set how the new component will look when you add it to other designs, and then you can drag display elements onto it from the left.
