Fantastic game but the password system is broken. Beat the first boss and got passwords from two different inns further into the next area. Both passwords start me back at the Inn right before the first boss, one of them even maxxed out my keys to 9 even though I only had one at the time. 

Haven't been able to make much progress because of this and having to start before first boss every time. Looking into things it seems to be an issue even with ModRetro carts and roms available for over a year. Any plans to fix this?

It wouldn't matter if I could use save states on my X7 but I get a kernel panic screen most times I try.

Finally got past the next area into the next larger map and that password works so its still the tower bug causing problems. I'm just happy I can save my progress from here now because those dancing ladies are no joke!
