Honestly? Skill issue
Steam is as easy to install as it can get. Search steam on google and open the website, then just click the button that maybe fucking says install on it.
Maybe try the steam version
well idk about a "high end" I cab run it just fine with gtx 1060 i5 10300 H laptop
